I know numerous people who have said were very sick in December, January and February. Including a family of three in Manhattan who had fevers for 9 days in December. Unfortunately the antibody tests don't seem to be very reliable.

It was so widespread that we were all looking online (yeah, that's the ticket) at what the hell was going on, and I swear the doctors were saying there was a big outbreak of influenza B (I don't know or understand the difference between the two). But yeah, I swear they said that and said it was running rampant and to be careful, blah blah.

So Covid was probably here much earlier than the 'experts' knew, and we still fell ill, rested & hydrated and then went on with our lives like we all have throughout history.

Funny how different it is now though. Don't dare go to a polling station or you may die!

I was sick with a sore throat, 102 fever, body aches, and cough for 2 weeks in February. Totally atypical of how I normally get sick (I almost always get more of a head cold, congestion, and don't even remember the last time I had a sore throat.) I am convinced that this virus has been around a lot longer than what we are led to believe and that quite a few people diagnosed with the Flu over the winter probably had this virus.
 
So to summarize, it's a respiratory virus like other respiratory viruses that have been prevalent and incredibly infectious throughout recorded human history.

And we're shutting down our very way of life as we know it now because of this one. Got it.

I just said the same thing! I also mentioned earlier in this thread about how I think my uncle got a false positive result. I also thought it odd that he knew his results either right before he checked into the hospital or right after he got there- couldn’t have been more than 30 minutes to an hour after getting tested. I don’t know if he was tested in the ambulance or at his house prior to getting transported. Is that the norm to get results ThAT fast?

Both myself and my husband were very sick end of January with high fevers, headache/bodyaches, chills, severe cough, sore throat and stomach issues. Thought it was the flu, and went to the doctor to get a prescrip for Tamiflu or whatever. Anyway, they did a flu test and it came back negative. He said it was weird, because with the symptoms he would swear it was definitely the flu. I felt like **** for at least 2 weeks and still felt exhausted, lack of energy, for another 3 weeks after that.

Perhaps more notably, more than a third of the American deaths Biden cited have occurred in the Democrat-run states of New York, New Jersey and California.

All three are headed by Democratic governors, and the statehouses of all three are controlled entirely by Democratic politicians......
 
I would like a Dem to explain what Biden would have done that Trump has not done, aside from universal mask mandates, which frankly are unenforceable and would lead to mass rebellion.

I will say he should have been more encouraging of mask wearing earlier. But I doubt that would have made an enormous amount of difference. By the time the scientists stopped telling us not to wear masks it had already spread. Biden says he would listen to the scientists.

In an interview Biden said that he would shut down the country if scientists told him that was what was needed..........you know, to save lives. Of course my eyes can't roll far enough back in to my head after hearing that ridiculous statement. What a genius.......hey let's ruin businesses and people's lives even further..........to save......just........one........life. **** him.

Such health & safety order would probably be unconstitutional. Biden has always been an idiot. A dullard who cheated his way through a ****** law school and then become a professional thief. The fact he does not recognize that health and safety issues are specifically reserved to the states and subject to involvement by the Fed only through legislation, based on the commerce clause, is thereby no surprise.

I’m sure it’s always been to some degree but now with tech we see it blatantly in our faces. I watched this documentary awhile ago about Rockefeller, JP Morgan and one other. It was very insightful how the most powerful men were putting folks in the WH. They used the media too, Nothing has changed it’s just so in your face now. You are a sheep that accepts what your told, or one that searches for truth.

SW, they do not give a crap. People are just inconvenient but necessary little peons from their point of view. We work, sweat and sometimes even die to keep them in the lap of luxury. We are basically just slaves and if our shops go belly up or tens of thousands of people die or our holidays like Easter, graduations, etc are cancelled so be it. Remember they also trashed the economy back in 08 just before the election to turn everyone on the Republican president and spur the need for change at the top. Somehow ignoring the fact that there was a Democrat majority in the House and Senate at the time.

Whats also amusing is how when the economy was going gang busters in the mid-late 90s, that was due to Bill Clinton, somehow ignoring the Republican majority in the House and the Senate.

So do not underestimate what lengths they will go to in order to win an election and never forget it. Tell your friends.
