Bolsonaro dined with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago on Saturday night and videos and photos, including some on Wajngarten’s own Instagram account, showed the press secretary, Bolsonaro and Trump all in close proximity. “I’m not concerned,” Trump told reporters on Thursday.

The positive test comes after Bolsonaro’s press secretary was also found to have the disease following a trip to the US.

This made me laugh. But let's not pretend here. Presidential candidates, including Joe Biden, have called for gun confiscation. They used to hide behind "Nobody wants tot take your guns," but they don't even bother to try and hide it anymore. Denying it is having your head in the sand. Now you can say that nobody needs an AR15 or whatever, but the constitution guarantees my right to it if I want it, and no citizen or politician gets to decide what I do or don't need.

As far as wiping capitalism off the face of the earth, there is a movement to do just that and it is growing. I mean hell, we had our first communist front runner, right here in America. Yes, I know Bernie fashions himself a "Democratic Socialist," whatever that is, but reality is the guy is a communist. Point blank, period. It's fun to watch his supporters try and dress it up to make it more palatable, but he's a communist. A lot of young people see capitalism as evil and unfair, uneducated as they are. Bless their hearts, they honestly believe that if we institute socialism or communism that all of us will be completely and totally economically equal. What they fail to realize is that the rich will still be rich, but the peasants will be equally poor. This very thing has played out around the world, multiple times throughout history, resulting in millions of deaths. It is far more than anecdotal evidence. Yet people advocate for a socialist utopia because they are not educated on what actually happens to peasants under socialism and communism. You can't force communism and socialism on an educated populace. So schools don't teach much of anything about it anymore. Just the evils of capitalism.

Fortunately, in America's brief history on this planet, we haven't had to endure the scourge of communism or socialism, and a big reason that it HASN't happened in America is............

the 2nd Amendment. You cannot force the gulags and re-education camps on an armed populace. Hell, they are liable to fight back. So I'm not in on gulags and re-education camps. Yet. But the rest is happening. In plain sight. And denying it is, well, stupid.

Spike, you may indeed, be correct. Millions may be infected. Perhaps as many as 61 million. (You know, like flu season last year.) And 61,000 people even DIED. That's a .1% kill rate for infection. Course the vast majority of those folks were either old or had a compromised immune system. (Something you call natural-selection.)

Will folks get sick? Sure. Is this new virus more contagious? Apparently... Is it an even rougher ride than the flu? That's what they say.
Will we be returned to the Stone Age? Only if the media and the democrats can get enough traction out of this.

And here's a prediction from Conspiracy Wig. IF by some ridiculous miracle, the democrats manage to destroy the country and win the election, the "deadly plague" will be nothing more than a memory before inauguration.

What I'm interested in is how many students will get auto 4.0s because they come from homes that don't have adequate internets to continue online classes.

You can't just flunk a kid out because you can't run a school.

that would be a godsend for my son at the moment. His Tourettes and anxiety are off the charts right now with stress coupled with his adhd.

Those points are valid and in no way mean he doesnt care. I am more worried about supplies right now thn the actual disease as my daughter is a type 1 diabetic and besides just insulin other supplies have disappeared like alcohol wipes and needles.

PRECISELY! And they will undoubtedly be open by October when I want to go with family and friends. Can you even IMAGINE how cheap airline tickets and DW tickets will be in a couple weeks or so when they are desperate for anybody to give them money for a future-trip?

Oh, and if you have an ounce of sense at all, you pulled everything you had from the market (or will in the next 24 hours) and will reinvest in a week or so. You'll likely double or triple your holdings when the market comes back in 6 months to a year.

Actually, if you're THAT worried about the Corona Virus and how people can contract it in group gatherings, I would suggest he suspend all elections, or go to JUST absentee balloting in order to avoid people gathering in large groups. I'm surprised the health-loving House hasn't suggested this yet.

We can't have people gathering in large groups to vote when the danger is so great, ya?

Once again, you misconstrue statements others write.

That’s great Tim, but why do you suddenly care? I thought the real predicament was China’s strangle hold on pharmaceuticals and medical supplies and Costco running out of toilet paper. BTW, I heard China is donating supplies to Italy.

I do care about the virus. I do believe it's not as bad as the media is making it out to be for "everyone." I am concerned personally as an asthmatic prone to pneumonia. I do care that China has a stranglehold on so much of our critical supplies. I do care that I can't get TP because the panic has led people to hoard daily supplies. I do care that we find a vaccine quickly. I am hopeful the tide is turning on this quicker than we had hoped.

What part of the variance of "care" do you not get?

I been on boards where people are crying about losing hundreds of thousands in the last few days because they waited too long!
