They went to the doctor,asked to be tested and they told them they're not sick enough and didn't need to be tested. what the **** is that? How do you contain something when they won't even test you when you ask to be tested.

You do what pretty much every medical source has told you to do for better than a week now.

If you begin to show a fever of 103 or higher, stay home. Drink fluids, use cool compresses to help the fever. If you ALSO begin to show shortness of breath symptoms AND the fever does not break after 3 days THEN you should go to the Dr. Before that - Stay home.

And, as mentioned before, should you ACTUALLY HAVE the covid-19, take heart in the fact that A) you will be told to stay in bed, drink fluids and get rest. Pretty much like you would do yourself. You can also take courage in the knowledge of one of two statistical facts. First, assuming the chicken-littles of the world are correct and covid-19 is the most contagious disease that ever walked the face of the Earth, the death rate is ridiculously low. That's right. You can't have it both ways. You can't have a virus that supposedly triples its number of infected people every 3 days and STILL have a death rate worldwide of under 100,000 after nearly 3 months unless if pretty much doesn't kill ANYBODY.

And secondly, as was mentioned in a post above, after almost 3 months the number of people who have been confirmed to have recovered from the virus is 10X that of the people who died.
 
And just so we're completely clear about how ******* stupid all the fear mongering is...

We've been told this is a highly contagious strain. We've been told the number of people infected TRIPLES every three days.

For those who enjoy math, assuming it is true that the virus "outbreak" occurred Dec. 1st as reported, that means the "increase phase" has occurred 27 times as of today. (Which of course means 2 Trillion, 500 billion people are now infected. (By the 21st of this month, well over the entire Earth's population will have been infected according to those numbers.

And if we accept the panic riddled "death rates" we've been peddled, we aren't being told the truth about how many people have died already from this terrible plague. Indeed, if the kill rate is ONLY 1%, we have already seen 2.5 Billion deaths.

Unless... we're being fed a bunch of panic-oriented bullshit and there's actually only say... 10,000 or so deaths worldwide and we're acting like utter and complete ***-hats for nothing.

I know, I know.. .Spike is rooting for the 2.5 billion deaths.

This morning I looked up the current estimated Covid 19 "kill rate". At worst it is estimated at 7.5%, but there is also a more generous 3.6% estimate. One is "potential" vs "real world".

At the 7.5% kill rate, that means only 116,630 people have it! That's great. I guess it CAN'T be all that contagious if only 110 thousand people have it across the globe.

Or if you prefer the kinder 3.6% kill rate, Well, that means 242,417 people have it.

But... wait. I thought we were looking at a contagion rate of millions by now. Uh... These numbers are strange and confusing and they just don't seem to fit the narrative.

The virus, even more so than the flu, seems to really hit the elderly harder. Those saying"it is just the flu" are right....sort of. No one wants others to die, but the media induced panic is bullshit.

Take precautions, extra precautions if you are in a high risk group and keep living your lives.

WIg, not sure where you are getting those numbers from. What I have looked at from actual science basessights it is behaving and progressing pretty much how they have predicted. For REAL numbers and charts look a this sight. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

I think Spike's posts are mostly tongue in cheek, but are really "sold" by the more hyperbolic statements. I'd prefer that he dialed it back from 11 to about 8, but would suggest minimal censorship.

He was first on this topic in a major way, and global policy is now matching his histrionic posts from just a short while ago. I might expect that he would be amongst the first interweb experts to signal the downslope when it happens. For those not in agreement with the tenor of his posts, the ignore button exists.

He/they is more entertaining than Netflix or CNN right now imo. Then again, i have always recommended SNS platinum service.

I said a while back that he is trolling everyone. I still believe that. I mean, the guy is cheering Cuomo and hating on Trump. He is the biggest Trump homer on this board. No way he turned just like that.

Yeah, his corona virus **** is annoying, but so is mostly everything else he posts. Just gotta see it for what it is. He is trying to antagonize people. He does it all the time. And, apparently, it is working.
