It must really piss you off that we have a secret vaccine, our 401ks are doing just fine, bars and restaurants have secret hours for us and we have secret schools open for our kids.

Yeah, around the country liquor stores are being deemed "essential services." A sign of the times.
 
Chinese "wet markets" (most of South Asia does it to some degree) and African "bushmeat" are very bad places.

If anything comes out of this, we have to shed the light of humanity onto some of these barbaric, ancient, unsanitary, cultural practices around the world.

And for god's sake, if someone tries to tell me my disgust for a culture that has "wet markets" is racist, I will punch them in the face.

I agree. The chinese do a cruel method.

But when they are dictated by government and born into that culture, that’s their norm.
Redditors always complain that chinese tourist are the rudest of them all. They don’t know too much beyond their borders.

Gov Cuomo for President?

it’s clear this will be used for political purposes as soon as it seems the worst has passed. It’s also clear the Dems know that Biden will get crushed. Could they use this emergency to pump up Cuomo as the hero of the outbreak, then hand him the nomination after Biden drops for health reasons?

**** that package. Too much bullshit in it that has nothing to do with providing aid to the economy. If they pass it and the President signs it, they have sealed our fate.

Trump needs to go on TV lay it out to the country. Tell them exactly why he isn’t signing it and then tell the Dems he wants a clean bill to sign into law. This is bullshit, all of it.

Exactly!! They don't need $2 TRILLION anyway. This needs to be targeted relief not just throwing money around like candy like when Obama wasted over a TRILLION dollars for nothing but union payoffs.

People like me shouldn't even get money from the gov't. I'm not laid off. I still get paid. I have no bills. Why in the world would they give me money? This should be for small business, laid off workers, and even big businesses (with restrictions). This could be passed in 5 minutes.

I think that's exactly what they're doing.
 
If they are going to spend trillions, how about spending it on actual shovel ready infrastructure? The problem is unions kill infrastructure projects as we saw with the last stimulus. They take the money put it in their pockets then say OK, now we’re paid, just give us the rest of the money for the actual project and we’ll get started.

They should make a special act that circumvents Union rules as an emergency provision to give people temporary construction jobs.
 
What cracks me up is they are promoting Cuomo as some type of hero, but yet NYC's cases are going up 5x the rest of the country or some BS. He may say all the right things and what not, but whatever he is doing in not producing actions. Of course not all or even most of it is his fault because people are idiots and dont listen, but I just find it funny that the guy in charge of the worst effected area is all the sudden a GOD.

WEll to be fair to Cuomo and that pains me to say, he is dealing with De Blasio ruining that city.
 
Good grief the Chinese are disgusting. No wonder they keep pumping out nasty stuff to the world. I hope that after all of this goes away I see a lot less of "Made in China" in the future. Clean up your act.

Again the likes of Pelosi shouldn't even be in office. This being entrenched in Washington for life has to end.

Maybe this will be the final straw that pushes us to a constitutional convention. They obviously can throw your rights in the trashcan any time they want.

She should probably up her security detail after this **** show is over. There's going to be a lot of very very angry people.
