We need to put up a sign at the borders

"Sorry folks, Florida's closed, Moose out front should've told ya"

I'll volunteer. Just give me .50.cal with a good scope and I'll shoot out car engine blocks before they hit the border. Homie is done playing this game.

Governor added my county to the Stay Home List.
We're binge watching my DVD set of "Life On Mars". Great TV show.

Trump vows US will get 100,000 ventilators within 100 days

President Trump on Friday vowed that the US would manufacture or otherwise procure 100,000 badly needed ventilators to treat critically ill coronavirus patients within 100 days.

“In the next 100 days, we will either make or get in some form over 100,000 additional units. In the next 100 days we will receive over three times the number of ventilators made during a regular year in the United States,” Trump said during the daily briefing of the Coronavirus Task Force at the White House.

Trump also repeated his contention that that many ventilators might not be needed.

“I think their estimates are high … they could be extremely high,” he said about governors’ requests for thousands of ventilators, including Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s request for 30,000 units.

Trump said that if the US finds itself with a surplus it cold share units with other countries, such as Spain, Italy and the UK.

The president also said that Boeing had also agreed to use three of its massive 787 Dreamliners to transport ventilators and other vital supplies to wherever they are needed.

“Boeing is also offering us the use of what they call their cargo plane, the largest plane in the world,” he said, displaying a photo of the aircraft.

“That can take anything. The biggest in the world. They are letting us use that for the distribution of product all over the country especially the heavy product or large quantities of product. Boeing will dedicate up to three planes to the mission of flying medical supplies anywhere we need it,” he said.

Trump earlier Friday used the Defense Production Act to order GM to begin producing ventilators hours after the company had announced it would do so.

So someone help me understand this ****. In order to slow the spread, they are recommending social distancing. NJ has martial law curfews. Travel from China and Europe, banned. Canada has closed its borders. Everything is being shut down to slow the spread.

But IF we were to quarantine GROUND ZERO, NY, which is rampant with Coronavirus, it would be an act of war? Do tell, how so? Would it not be intelligent? I'm asking.

Furious Cuomo blasts Trump's 'anti-American' idea for a New York quarantine and calls it a 'federal declaration of WAR' in extraordinary live TV outburst after the president threatened to cordon off the Tri-state

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has said that President Donald Trump's proposed quarantine of New York to limit the spread of coronavirus would be tantamount to a 'federal declaration of war.'

'If you start walling off areas all across the country it would just be totally bizarre, counter-productive, anti-American, anti-social,' said Cuomo in an interview with CNN on Saturday.

Trump said earlier on Saturday that he is considering quarantining 'heavily infected' New York, and parts of Connecticut and New Jersey, in a desperate effort to slow the spread of coronavirus.

'This is a civil war kind of discussion,' Cuomo said of the proposal. 'I don't believe that any administration could be serious about physical lockdowns of states.'

Let me interpret:

Cuomo expects to be the Dem surprise nominee and now has to distance himself from his Trump praise and make sure he minimizes the credit Trump gets from taking charge

Frankly i am fine with it... the more the dems support state rights the better... again trump turn Dems into loving hypocritical positions when he embraces them...

Two people who should lose their jobs immediately:

https://nypost.com/2020/03/28/mount...ida-vacation-homes-during-coronavirus-crisis/

While heroic staffers beg for protective equipment and don garbage bags to treat coronavirus patients at a Mount Sinai hospital, two of the system’s top executives are waiting out the public health catastrophe in the comfort of their Florida vacation homes, The Post has learned.

Dr. Kenneth Davis, 72, the CEO of the Mount Sinai Health System who pulled down nearly $6 million in compensation in 2018, is ensconced in his waterfront mansion near Palm Beach.

Davis has been in the Sunshine State for weeks and is joined by Dr. Arthur Klein, 72, president of the Mount Sinai Health Network, who owns an oceanfront condo in Palm Beach.

As the duo work from “home,” the Upper East Side-based hospital system seems to be imploding.

Stuff you won't find in our media. Take time to watch some of the Cheyenne videos, good stuff. Something big is going on with this virus, thanks to all who serve in our military, be safe guys.

Would be interesting if smartphones are partially to blame. I watched a young person standing in line at check out of our local grocery store yesterday decked out in full gear, mask gloves etc.. I'd assume she was pushing the cart around, picking up stuff, etc. while her gloves were on, then while in line, her phone beeped, she immediately picked it up with her gloved hand. If she had the bug on her gloves, it was now on her phone and would eventually be put up to her face... Americans are in love with their phones and everyone has one. Not sure that is the case in other countries but might explain the high numbers on that chart... Just food for thought...

I don’t know. Seems China stopped reporting. Read an article yesterday that they are importing record numbers of urns, reports of mass graves and burning stacked bodies. Don’t know if it’s true, but no way they stopped the spread of that disease that quickly in a nation of 1.3 billion people.

"Chuck Norris Warns of Rebellion, Martial Law if America’s COVID Strategy Doesn’t Change"

Ok, but he offers no suggestions on how it should change.

Yeah, I didn’t get a chance to add any context. Wife was nagging me so I just posted the link. Apologies.

they are good for tracking?

MOBILE PHONE LOCATION DATA OF FLORIDA BEACHGOERS DURING SPRING BREAK TRACKED TO SHOW POTENTIAL CORONAVIRUS SPREAD

Through a partnership with @xmodesocial, we analyzed secondary locations of anonymized mobile devices that were active at a single Ft. Lauderdale beach during spring break. This is where they went across the US:
