Experts will ALWAYS give the highest numbers on purpose. They want to give you the worst case scenario and then walk it back if necessary, rather than go low and have people get blindsided and ravaged by something they didn't expect. I don't think there is anything political or devious about it. It's just how it is and it's the right thing to do from a safety standpoint. I don't think this "exposes" them in any way. It was by design. There is absolutely no way to accurately pinpoint what is going to happen with an epidemic that nobody has ever seen before so you give the worst case scenario and make sure people take precautions.
Oh I fully get that, believe me. SOME here don't. Some here hear what they say and then run around predicting the end of the world. MILLIONS will die! This ain't the flu bro!
I still believe we are going to see fewer deaths in the USA in 2020 from CV19 than we will the flu.
Them continuing to walk these numbers back just emboldens my predictions I've made before.
