Oh I fully get that, believe me. SOME here don't. Some here hear what they say and then run around predicting the end of the world. MILLIONS will die! This ain't the flu bro!

I still believe we are going to see fewer deaths in the USA in 2020 from CV19 than we will the flu.

Them continuing to walk these numbers back just emboldens my predictions I've made before.
 
Let's not forget these doomsday predictions were WITH full social distancing in place. We were told without it there would be millions of deaths. Yeah, does anyone actually believe that?

Let's also realize that the vast majority of those tested were the sickest among us.The numbers of people with mild illness or asymptomatic infections is probably massive.

Hell, for all anyone knows, the reason this has been a bad flu season with 3 separate outbreaks could well be that this virus was here last fall and that many of the deaths attributed to the flu could have been Covid-19 deaths. Nobody knows for certain.

Ha ha ha...what many of us have said is, this will kill tens of thousands, mostly among the oldest and weakest among us, JUST LIKE THE FLU does, EVERY YEAR. Yet for some reason we needed to shut down society over this.

And all you have done is screamed over and over that this is not like the flu.

So how did China, a country with population density an order of magnitude larger than ours, with vastly less efficient and safe handling of garbage and human waste, a nation producing pollution by the metric ton, the location of the start of the goddamn disease, and a country that allowed five million people into and out of Wuhan before January 23, completely escape the harm the Western nations are experiencing?

Please answer without utilizing any conspiracy theory.

Interesting.

It seems logical that the most likely candidates for heart attack and stroke overlap with the most likely candidates to have severe illness with coronavirus. So many of them are already in the hospital and dying of coronavirus instead of dying of heart attacks and strokes. It will be interesting to see how much this affects the overall death rate for the year.

Only through the actions taken with social distancing and stay at home will it be "just like the flu". As far as how fast and far it spreads it is not "just like the flu" in the matter of how left unchecked it would overwhelm ICU units it is not the flu. IF it ends up "just like the flu" then we have done the right things.

Yeah, it is horrific that Trump would offer assistance to someone else, how ******* awful of him. I am shocked that the NHS hasn't contacted you for guidance since you know more than everyone else in the World about this virus.
