The Coronavirus thread

Univ of Wisconsin cancelled their game this weekend and are trying to scare people not to vote in person.

The state saw a 260% increase in Covid hospitalizations since Monday, but you go ahead and believe what you want to believe.

My brother who is 56 and overweight got his positive test back today. He had mild cold symptoms which developed into low grade fever and cough that lasted 2 days. He's totally symptom free now. Amazing how this thing hits people differently.
We should have a poll of who would/wouldn't take the vaccine.

Run and hide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's Ebola!!!!!! Run!!! Hide!!!!!!

Here's the real damned data. It's just NOT that deadly overall.

Studies Point To Big Drop In COVID-19 Death Rates

Two new peer-reviewed studies are showing a sharp drop in mortality among hospitalized COVID-19 patients. The drop is seen in all groups, including older patients and those with underlying conditions, suggesting that physicians are getting better at helping patients survive their illness.

"We find that the death rate has gone down substantially," says Leora Horwitz, a doctor who studies population health at New York University's Grossman School of Medicine and an author on one of the studies, which looked at thousands of patients from March to August.

The study, which was of a single health system, finds that mortality has dropped among hospitalized patients by 18 percentage points since the pandemic began.

May wanna look at the CDC too: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/201...s-discovery/hospitalization-death-by-age.html

We know, COVID is religion for you.

Lock your Covid kid in his room, Tim.

99.98% recovery rate and the Dims want everything shut down and a federal mask mandate until 2022. Fuuuuuck you.

Oh, and the commies in Illinois just shut down indoor dining at bars and restaurants again. Brilliant.

.

this makes it easier to say on 11/3 "It's pretty much over. Thanks!"

Lock your Covid kid in his room, Tim.

For what reason Floggy? To bow at the feet of COVID as you do? He's recovered. Healthy. Back at school. Living life in probably the safest environment he can be in, around other college kids that just aren't affected by COVID.

COVID gave him a sniffle.

Lock your Covid kid in his room, Tim.

He is not or was not a Covid kid. He was a kid that had covid. I take your comment as a dig at another poster's family member, a banable offense . Don't take shots at any of our kids . Tim took it way better than I did. But I guess he realizes what an ******* you are.

Indeed. Thought about erupting, but what's the point? He is a reprehensible asshat.

I thought it was made very clear earlier this year and many times before that that attacking someone else's family was out of bounds? It's in the rules or charter or something like that. I guess free-loaders who don't support the sites they pollute don't have access to those?

Maybe one of the mods will see it soon and give him a vacation for a little bit.

And Tim has asthma, so getting a respiratory virus is sketchy for him. But you don't know the man or his family so **** you for this comment, you insufferable douchebag.

And way to take the high road, Tim. Hard to do sometimes with this freeloading troll.

Cases or hospitalizations? And now that it's flu season (which seemed to magically disappear this entire year), is it possible that is a factor, if your number (those things you love to throw around so much without any context) is actually correct?

Our resident ampalampse chaser is near legally blind.

No wonder he has so much ammunition, he's going to need every single last one. Or maybe it's his neighbor with the mini arsenal?

When they go low....

You should see the targets he shoots....at. Looks like shotgun spray.

We can only hope.

the mods here suck. Based on how Tim handled the bullshit attack on his son, I can only imagine that Tim deals with far worse from his friends and comes to this here website for some hope, change and peace of mind.

Univ of Wisconsin cancelled their game this weekend and are trying to scare people not to vote in person.

Not only that, but they announced "12" players had Covid.

12 of course is symbolic for "12th man" aka "the people" and "12 man jury/verdict."

That was the first clue this is a rigged, propaganda ritual and symbolism.

I saw on the news this morning that they are protesting and rioting in Spain and Italy because they're tired of the lockdown ****.

Hospitalizations. Wisconsin has set up a field hospital at its State Fair Park and has started to admit patients to it. How’s that for context? Not exactly a “rounding the curve, ending the pandemic” type situation.
