So it's been 10 hours since my shot and now it hit me. I don't have a fever but it feels like I do. I'm cold and shivering. I have a headache and general aches all over. I'm pretty tired (I plan on going to bed very soon). Overall, nothing serious, but I want to be honest about what's happening to me, how long any side effects last, etc. I just took some advil and expect that to help.

Right now, on a scale of 1-10 (without advil), I feel about a 5 on the ****** scale. If I woke up feeling this way, I probably wouldn't go to work unless I was working on something very important or with a deadline (in which case, I would medicine up and just get through it). It kind of feels like that.

I will update everyone in the morning.

Politicians can’t shut down businesses unless they’re in power. How did unemployment help them politically?

Yes the people with comorbidities get hospitalized. So basically if you’re not morbidly obese, not a heavy smoker, do not have some other attendant lung or cardiovascular disease you will be fine. Since we know this there is no reason to keep the economy shut down.

Oh they are still out there. What is your point? Do you think I believe these states all 100% stopped wearing masks? Jesus Flogged. I live in a state where the state dictated HS sports could return in October, but my County waited till April to bring them back.

DUH. The STATEs got rid of the mandates. Doesn't mean the businesses/locales have to.

And to your point, yes there's still a lot of stupidity out there.

Another interesting read. In the spirit of "Just follow the Science." That's all we've been told, is to follow the science. And for 13 months, the networks, the experts, the doctors, the WHO...everyone...has said COVID is spread asymptomatically. People have COVID, don't have symptoms, and spread it to others. We have been told this over and over and over and over and over and over....so it must be true.

Yet....they still can't come up with any data AT ALL to prove this is true.

It's all still just theory.

But follow the science peoples. Be good sheeple.

I know you are one of the supporters of big government and such an ardent supporter of same, that there is a 99% certainly that big US govt lines your pockets, someway, somehow. Now go jump up and down and say I'm off my meds, or a racist bigot homophobe conspiracy theorist nut job, etc. etc.

You already know this but for those who have not had the pleasure and think that they are the greatest thing since sliced bread on the International Space Station or demonic beasts from Hell, once you spend some time around politicians, you'll come to understand they are in it for themselves. 95% of them don't give a low or high flying f about their constituents. Their only concern is staying in power and taking in big bucks. Once that realization kicks in, then you'll understand politics, politicians and why they do the things they do. It's what's best for them and usually that's not what's best for a country built on capitalism, and a free, just and moral society.
