This ought to scare the living HELL out of anyone.

Despite studies now showing that if you have had the virus, you may be immune for life....or for a really looonnngggg time....People like former PM Tony Blair and his think tank are advocating for a vax passport and differing levels of freedom for those who have it and those who do not.

Scary. Scary, scary ****.

I'm with you. Voting if you pay taxes as a requirement is wishful thinking. No one is pushing that idea.

The scary part is, Vax passports appear to be coming. States wouldn't be passing legislation banning potential future passports if they didn't think it was real. They say in the article Tony Blair has a habit for "predicting" what the Government is about to do weeks before they do it (he has inside sources....he's not brilliant). So it appears to be coming in the UK.

What they are pushing for is real and imminent in areas. The stuff we want is vaporware.
 
So this type of stuff frustrates me. Look at this headline. Good news, bad news.

The good news? We are kicking Covid's ***. 15,000 cases a day is far below the levels we were at at the beginning. Way below.

The bad news...the media deceiving us again. CNBC says we are averaging 1 Million vaccinations a day without indicating in the headline it's a huge drop. We did 1 million vaccinations a day in December 2020. 1 Million vaccinations a day is a HUGE drop off from where we were. Dig and they do cover it however.

Biden has managed, somehow, to generate a downward hockey stick on vaccinations. A severe drop. And his July 4 goal will be missed at this rate.

First **** Biden goal. **** only happened because of Trump.

I think what we are seeing is the steady decline of folks who want it, and the numbers for folks that didn’t have a chance to get it is why it’s (I’ll say it) as high as it is.

the “I got my stick” tictokers” have long been done, now it’s the folks that I’ll pay you a grand to get it or you will be entered into a million dollar lotto that are lining up.

They're just there to 'help'. I've also heard that NFL coaches refusing to get the vaccine will be banned "from the field, meeting rooms and direct interactions with players" if they don't comply very shortly. I hear the argument that it's a private corporation so the employees have mandates they have to follow. I'm sure our resident lawyers can provide more detailed information there.

So my question; I've heard Covid vaccination among players is low, so it's okay for them to have interactions with others, but not the coaches? We're going down a slippery slope and this is getting scary. I've already seen "Whole Foods" giving vaccinated people preferential treatment, among others. So if you don't comply with getting an experimental vaccine that has only been authorized by the FDA for "emergency use", you're essentially going to be punished?

Can’t say much but….our company is doing a new “push” for increase in vacc rates for staff and residents. Imo it has zero to do with infections, outbreaks, or negative outcomes but only due to “perception.”

We have X percent vaccinated come to us.

There is no reason from where we currently are as an industry from the high percent we have of vaccinations and from naturally immunity to experience anything like we did early on.

it’s all a ******* game now. Get your stick, do your tic tok, flaunt your card to your friends, continue to pump that big Pharma need and get your booster. I find it comical on calls where natural immunity is consistently disregarded but yet science states otherwise. Why is that? There is both, both provide, but yet we are told only one way forward,…why
 
The Company I work for released it's back to office protocol. Just insanity.

  • Appropriate physical distancing.
  • The requirement to wear a face covering when not physically distanced (example: in elevators, lobbies, hallways, and restrooms).
  • It is ok to remove your face covering when at your own workstation provided you are physically distanced. Face covering guidance applies whether or not you are vaccinated.

Nothing really shocks me anymore. Anybody else, honestly?

Of course powerful, corrupt, career politicians have always been pretty self-interested scum for the most part - but just the way they've turned a good percentage of the population on their heads (and this country) so easily is a sight to see. The two main political parties are both complicit (one much more than the other but screw them both IMO), our institutions have become politicized worthless hacks, big tech & the media rule the narrative etc. Where do we go from here?

That is a natural consequence - indeed, a desired outcome I believe - of an education system that for the past forty years has been obsessed with indoctrination and not education, with ideological kowtowing and not critical thinking.

We raise two generations of mindless sheep and are surprised when they behave like mindless sheep?
