We may not all be so lucky the next virus they decide to accidentally let out.

A lot of countries have biological weapons stashed away. Some of those are plague, which has been weaponized for a very long time. Resistant to antibiotics as well, kinda like MRSA, but deadlier.

Most countries are scared to use such things because it's a weapon that could certainly make it's way back and kill you.

Daszak was one of the authors of the World Health Organization (WHO) report: “Report of the WHO-China Joint Mission of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)”. In this report, the WHO determined that the virus likely originated from a zoonotic spillover or a natural mutation. This report did the work of absolving Daszak, and the Wuhan Institute of Virology, of any liability in the release of the virus.
