The Democrat Corruption Thread

I find that most people don't pay attention to news like this. Many markets will now get only communist propaganda and they will never hear a counterpoint.

can't they just do this in a coffee shop?

People who live in those markets and believe the “communist propaganda” aren’t likely to believe any counter point anyway because it does nothing to confirm their bias.

At the same time, countering that propaganda with stuff that isn’t true does nothing to help the counter argument and only pushes anyone that could be dissuaded closer to what you’re trying to keep them from. A lot of the videos from X, instagram, etc is fake. But it confirms a bias.

Assuming any of that’s true, truthfully what does it matter? Nobody is going to jail and Trump isn’t going to get a third term. It’s not going to change who the democrats vote for. So other than being able to say you were right, what’s the point? I’m truly curious to know.

It’s more proof of widespread election fraud and why the dims and rinos are hellbent against the SAVE act. The only way can win is to cheat with fake ballots. Don’t forget that Trump was leading in all of the swing states when they shut down counting at midnight, papered up the walls and kicked republicans out.

There used to be booths for that sort of thing but you had to keep putting quarters in.
So I'm told.

Republicans are complacent, fat and lazy. I believe more voters are registered as Republicans than Democrats in this country but getting them off their *** and actually voting seems to be problematic. Will the insanity of the DSA be enough to get them to the polls or at least to the mailbox this November?

It appears that the Democrat just won the special election for a state house seat in largely Republican Butler County by 88 votes.

I think that says more about republican politicians than anything. They never accomplish anything of substance. They never seem to unite on any issue. They seem content to sit back and proudly proclaim “Well, at least we’re not democrats” like it’s enough anymore. The midterms could be incredibly ugly for republicans.

Yep, when it comes time to vote.
The only time democrats are NOT complacent and lazy is when it’s time to vote. Their best chance at free stuff is worth the effort.

Partly but I think it's more that Democrats do a better job of getting voter turnout. Especially in low turnout elections like this where you get maybe 15%.
This was a special election to replace a Republican state representative who resigned and the seat will be voted on again in November anyway but naturally the Democrat will have a leg up. It would have been better for us if she had just stayed and not run for reelection but she had gotten divorced and has a small child.

Hope not. But to your point, they have had the congress , senate and WH for nearly 2 years. They closed the borders, you can at least say that. What else?

Dems also do a better job with media ads. Out here they're pounding the airwaves with ads, all of them half-truths or outright lies with no countering ads from the Reps, or any ads from them at all. Most voters don't pay that much attention to facts and details, so I believe these ads do sway votes.

They could be hammering all the libs out here for refusing to debate. I honestly don't know how they expect to win.

This election was kind of upsetting because Butler County has been majority Republican since forever.
The Dem won by 88 votes.
I'm also told the Butler County GOP Committee has been in disarray for a while and only recently got their **** together.

Sounds like Australia's mainstream urban conservative party, the Liberal party, except they are in disarray across the whole of Australia.

You exaggerate a little on the Reps ineptitude …..or shortchange them, however you want to look at it.
No they are not everything what we want them to be, but they do accomplish some things and do unite on some issues.

Under President Trump and the Republican majorities in Congress, the legislative agenda has focused heavily on sweeping tax and budget reconciliation, border and immigration enforcement funding, national defense, and national security measures. [1, 2]

Major Legislative Actions and Passed Policies

    • Tax Cut Extensions & Domestic Policy Reconciliation: Congress advanced major legislation extending the 2017 tax cuts, lifting federal income taxes on tips and overtime, and raising the state and local tax (SALT) deduction cap. [1, 2]
    • Federal Spending and Entitlement Reforms: Passed sweeping budget cuts exceeding $1.5 trillion, which included substantial structural changes and work requirements to programs like Medicaid. [1]
    • Border Security & Immigration Funding: Allocated tens of billions of dollars toward resuming border wall construction and expanding funding for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). [1, 2]
    • Defense and National Security: Enacted the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), boosting funding for military capabilities, defense industrial base revitalization, and counter-measures regarding foreign adversaries. [1, 2]
    • Education and Foreign Influence Restrictions: Adopted bills like the DETERRENT Act and related measures restricting federal funds or institutional partnerships involving Chinese entities of concern and Confucius Institutes. [1]
    • Election Integrity Provisions: Advanced partial components of election-related acts providing state grants and introducing stricter voter identification and citizenship verification rules. [1, 2]
