Clinton decided to fight the harassment lawsuit by Jones. He knew damn well his sexual history, pattern of hitting on subordinates, etc., so his decision was incredibly ill-founded. The Supreme Court ruled that a sitting President could be subjected to a civil suit while in office (something I disagreed with at the time and still do), and at that point, Clinton should have settled the damn thing early on.

By deciding to fight, he has to give deposition testimony. He is asked about his sexual exploits with subordinates, including Lewinsky. That information is quite personal and private, but the judge attending the deposition - something that basically never happens - ordered him to answer the question. He was understandably embarrassed about his Lewinsky affair and lied under oath to hide that affair.

Oh, and I basically described all of Mueller's convictions to date. None of the underlying behavior was wrong. All of the misdoings by Flynn et al. consisted of lying during the investigation - which is as common during investigations as sprinklers on a golf course. I am not minimizing the behavior, but anybody who believes it's a "big deal" to lie during an investigation, and lie about something personal or embarrassing, has never been involved in an investigation.

2. You stated that Bill had insurance and therefore did not pay out of his own pocket which is a pretty silly argument
3. I stated disbelief that it was just a "regular homeowner's policy" as you contended
4.You they backtracked and stated it was a personal injury coverage that may have been under the umbrella of a homeowner's policy
5. I then pointed out that you changed your argument and that even if it is a personal injury policy, the point is Bill still paid money to shut somebody up.
6. You then told me you were simply answering about the type of insurance, which was never the issue anyway.

That brings us to you being wrong about Clinton not paying a woman. If you can use the excuse of insurance making the payment then you must also believe that since Trump's lawyer paid Stormy, it means Trump did pay her any money either.
