Not sure I agree fully - WR's and DB's wear the same gloves. Why do we see "so many" dropped INT's??? If this is your argument - offer to buy Ike a supply for the remainder of the year...

I don't think anyone is trying to argue its impossible to drop a pass wearing gloves. What we're trying to explain is how given the angle of the ball and only three fingers on it, how Beckham was able to catch it - thanks to the gloves.

If you replicate how his hand was on the ball and try to slide your thumb toward the point, it will likely slide across the ball and the ball will roll off your fingers. Do the same with gloves and the ball will rotate into the your palm.
