Jacksonville is 7-3, just one game behind us. This means if we end up with the same record, they move ahead of us in playoff seeding.

The upcoming New England game suddenly is must win for a first round bye.

What we cannot do is have any additional games coming out flat against lesser teams which has been the m o around here far too long. Out of the final 6 games we have one legit test and that’s against the Pats. The other 5 we Should win. Cannot drop any of those Should win games.
That Bears game is the one to me that stings the most. That’s one of those Should win games and we blew it.
We have to take these games one at a time and not look ahead. That will be up to Tomlin to make sure the team stays focused each week.

If you have to lose, losing to an NFC team hurts the least. Jax is in the AFC, and if tied, they vault ahead of us.

While I think the Steelers are on a roll, beating NE is not going to be easy. Let's hope those cats drop a game or two.

You’re right about losing to an NFC team is better than to an AFC team but my point is that the Bears are a very bad team that you should not lose to. The Jags are pretty good and expect them to be a legit challenge in the playoffs. And I never thought that would be one of those-easy games. They always seem to play us tough.

It might but there’s a lot of football left to be played. I think it’s a mistake to assume Jacksonville is going to just win every single game. They still have a liability at QB.

I do agree in general though that they’re a better team than anyone thinks and it is important for us to finish ahead of them

The jags qb sucks balls. You stuff that teams run game and they're done. Just don't turn the ball over.

Exactly. You will not beat a single team in the NFL throwing 5 picks. Ben imploded. If you don't turn it over and you force Bortles to throw the Jags are not very good. They rely on their defense to win them games and they are more than capable of doing just that....one of, if not the best defensive units in football.

It always amazes me how coach has to start new threads to state obvious things that we never would have thought of ,without him starting a new thread about it...

The game that is important is this week, Green Bay looked terrible when Baltimore rushed the QB.. Tomlin did you hear that rushed the QB.

The Stillers ‘should’ win out He remainder of the season with althe toughest being the Patsies. However, we seen this story before, supposed to beat someone they’re supposed to and they don’t...

Way too much looking ahead. Stop talking about anyone except who we play this week. It is the only thing that matters. I expect others teams will probably lose a game or two still.

Really doesn't matter if we look ahead or talk about anyone other than the Packers. We aren't playing the game.

Beat the Pats and home field is ours

Negative Nancies

Oh really? I thought we'd roll over them by 20+pts, especially when you consider our history vs. them.

This is the propaganda the Jags are spewing on Twitter. Jag-offs are pretty high on themselves after a saving grace win against the Stains and a rookie QB. However, everyone is right. We can't flinch or we will be on the road for the playoffs.

Oh give me a break, no one on this board is on the team, we can talk about it if we want to, has absolutely no bearing to what transpires on game day

If you think the Bungles on the road is a cakewalk, you're mistaken. They would like nothing better than to derail our season with injuries. The Rats should always be taken seriously. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool. They are the favorite for the last playoff spot, and will come here very motivated.

What makes you so sure? I would say that NFL players do read or post on message boards. Pretty much anyone who posts on twitter, or their Facebook page is a web poster.

Who cares, either way? What, so now we have to watch what we discuss on here, lest an active player is reading and gets full of themselves based off of what we fans say or don't say?

Stupid comment, coach. Even for you
