The New Hampshire Primary

When it gets right down to it, this "Primary" season could very well be a waste of time for the GOP. There is no way in hell that they give the nod to Trump, even if he wins by 50%. The RNC will nominate "Their" guy anyway. Trump would have been much better off running as an "Independent" candidate.

The Convention in Chicago?

There would be a ******* revolt at the convention if they did that. Would tear the party apart (if it's not already).

If they put Bush up there, I'm changing to an independent.

Already changed to Libertarian last time I re-did my drivers license......the party has been severely divided for awhile.

She's delusional too. Her speech sounded like she won big.

Wait 'til her speeches to Goldman Sachs surface.

South Carolina will show the path. If Sanders and Trump continue to dominate, even in the SEC, then it is clear that politicos and media don't know wtf the public wants. The next 9 months could have a large shift from the predictable election cycle made-for-TV -dramas.

Ron bmti......they know what we want. Be damned if they'll "allow" it though.

The only other states Bernie will win are Vermont and Maine.

The real vote in NH was Sanders 13 delegates to Hillary 9

He lose a couple coin flips?

Trump is up huge in South Carolina and Florida, like by 2 to 1 over second place. Not even close.

Trump pretty much has it locked up and the large field I think benefits him. I will be voting for Donald once the Florida primary happens.

While We Were Focused on New Hampshire, Obama Proposed Trillions in Tax Hikes

While we were all focused on the New Hampshire presidential primary yesterday, President Obama introduced his final budget plan complete with a whopping $3.4 trillion dollar tax hike for American families.

The Obama budget will result in massive new taxes on already overtaxed American families.

Obama's budget has been met with immediate rejection from Republicans and Democrats on Capitol Hill.

GOP shatters its (New Hampshire voter) turnout record; Democrats lag behind

Republicans set a new turnout record Tuesday in New Hampshire's primary, attracting more than a quarter of a million voters to the polls and offering evidence that most of the energy in the 2016 presidential race continues to be on the GOP side

7 a.m. Wednesday, with 89 percent of precincts reporting, 263,035 people cast votes in the GOP primary and another 231,311 voted in the Democratic primary.

Donald Trump in Driver's Seat on Way to Presidential Nomination

Donald Trump got everything he wanted in New Hampshire primary--and a whole lot more. He's not only a stronger frontrunner in the Republican race than ever; he's now in the driver's seat on the road to the presidential nomination.

Every Republican candidate who finished first and second in Iowa and New Hampshire has won the presidential nomination.

It’s nice to see the Weekly Standard has moved on to the acceptance phase in their grief. LOL

They predicted Trump would come in 3rd in NH.

No it's not. Hillary will get more delegates than Bernie. How? Because Dems are involved so obviously, it's rigged.

New Hampshire has 24 “pledged” delegates, which are allotted based on the popular vote. Sanders has 13, and Clinton has 9, with 2 currently allotted to neither.
But under Democratic National Committee rules, New Hampshire also has 8 “superdelegates,” party officials who are free to commit to whomever they like, regardless of how their state votes. Their votes count the same as delegates won through the primary.

Congressional Black Caucus to formally endorse Clinton on Thursday

On Thursday morning, the CBC’s leaders will appear at the Democratic National Committee to formally endorse Clinton for president, through the CBC political action committee. The group will then disburse its African-American lawmakers to states where black voters are crucial, particularly in South Carolina’s Democratic primary on Feb. 27

So who is left for the Repubs now?

I don't think Santorum has offcially given up yet. I do find it alarming that they keep trotting Jeb out there when it's clear that no one wants him. Carly was polling higher than him in NH but they kept her out of the main debate and had Jeb in.
