So Thursday we get The Browns in Cleveland on a short week... the Browns season is ****, but you can expect them to play their super bowl vs us in their house...

After that we have a ten day break before we take on Cinci in Cinci coming off their bye
If the Bengals lose tonight, they have seven losses, so any hope of a playoff birth will be on the line when they face us..

Then we finish this divisional run with a home game vs the original Turds.. by then one would expect the Browns to be checking out for the season, but who knows?

A 3-0 run here virtually clinches the division

There would be 4 games left...
With a victory either vs the Ravens or Bengals and the tiebreaker would be clinched..

The Ravens have 2 more losses than us and only six games left..if we can win these next three weeks and beat the bengals but lose the other 3 games they'd have to win out to get the division

I wouldn't say it clinches the division but it would put us closer to winning it. The real challenge will be when this team goes on the road vs Philthy, then on the road to Baltiwhore, then home vs Chefs on Christmas Day! Those 3 games all occur in a 10 day span vs 3 very formidable teams that will all be in the playoffs.

I hope Tomlin keeps this team focused because Thursday night vs Clowns is no joke....you are 100% correct it is their Super Bowl! They will be playing with nothing to lose! Expect a close game!

While the Philly and kc games are important if we want to compete for the top seed, if they lost both and won 4 of 5 division games we got the division cause the Ravens aren't winning out

I’ve been wondering if the Christmas Day game vs the Chiefs might be meaningless for them. That became less likely with their loss to the Bills yesterday.

I’ve done the math and if we win one of the next three….

Tomlinship!!!!

I have the plane engines warming, the champagne cork is 30% coming out, all puddings have been let out the box, Ahoy cannons are loaded……….

Thursday Night at my house will be a scream heard around the world……………

Remember, there is no “reverse cowgirl” in Alabama as no-one turns their back on family……………….

(Side-note). I am NOT from Alabama

I would seriously consider starting Fields in Cleveland due to the very short week.

Before you crucify me….What I’m saying is Russell is a 35 year old QB that is coming off a very physical and emotional game .. and a poor performance where he looked indecisive, slow of foot and displayed very hesitant decision making. To me, he looked like a guy needs some downtime. imho..

Put the young buck with the fresh legs in there!
We win by at least two scores with him in Cleveland and Russell gets some well deserved time off(10 days) before heading into the meat grinder of the remaining schedule, and beyond…

Valid point

I think to keep a little rust from forming that maybe DangRUSS for the 1st qtr.. Go from there

One game at a time boys, one at a time. Let’s just focus on the Browns Thursday and if we come out of that game 9-2 without any injuries and ten days before the next game, I’m happy.

Was thinking something similar

Russ did look slow on reads and indecisive in the first half killling drives with sacks

Not a bad idea to give him a bye week and see if Fields can apply what he’s learned on the sideline

Or at least use a little of the Fields packages especially on 3rd and short if the drive is intended to be 4 down territory. Just having Fields back there on 3rd and short makes the D have to focus on someone other than the RB and opens things up for the dive cuz they have to respect Fields as a runner.

Was glad they inserted the CLOSER on that final
Drive, was suggesting that at the watch party…almost lost my mind when he slid early tho

If it works maybe try it again on the 3 games in 10 days scheduling debacle

After watching Cleveland replay, Browns passed the heck out of New Orleans, we better be ready for Winston.
Very good pocket passer…might be the best “pure” passer we’ve seen this season..
Reminds me a lot of Flacco, and you saw what happened there!
Need pressure packages for sure.
Need all “fresh” legs Thursday night!
This has trap written all over it!

Fields will not start again this year barring injury.
Its best to just get that fantasy out of people's heads.

Cleveland has a good secondary, so its possible Wilson has a third unimpressive game in a row... and the clamoring will grow... but he will light up cinci and the second cleveland game will be less problematic at home. They wont make a shift late in the season. The fields ship has sailed

Win two of three and in. There is a lot of Chaffe below the division leaders in the AFC. And they got tie breakers over everyone but the Colts.

Weather forecast looks lousy right now for Thursday night in Cleveland. Temp around 38, snow showers and breezy.

That game when the Steelers threw the ball like 50 times in massive wind gusts in Cleveland is somehow still too fresh in my mind.
3rd and goal from the 1 in wind squalls and they go 5 wide.....not this week!!

(I hope)

Cleveland just lost another Tackle for the season... its gonna be a rough spot for them

Jack Conklin will probably start at LT.. he just got back five games ago from a injury that wiped out over a year for him. He has been covering RT...

They lost starting LT Wills for the season and just lost Dawand Jones for the year too... they already have James Hudson and Hakeem Adeniji on the IR

I think part of the indecisiveness was due to the Ravens playing unexpected coverages. I think it was Pickens who said the Ravens gave them different looks than film study 65% of the time. I think it wouldn't hurt to play fields more Thursday. Give Russ a little rest
