The next 3 games

You should watch this mornings DK Daily Shot. It talks a lot about the players preparedness and his inter-actions / conversations about being prepared. It’s a good listen, strongly suggest it.

The Bengals game screams trap.
The bengals game is the third time we play a ****** defense coming off a huge break with enough time to adjust...

The ravens and Cowboys both had Thursday night games before they faced us
The Bengals have a bye.
Fortunately, unlike the other two we have ten days to prep for them... so hopefully our O has some new tricks to show

I'm calling this the OHIO Sandwich. Browns-Bengals-Browns. Just like a freakin Manwich! Put some fries and coleslaw on that ***** and go 3-0!! (I am concerned about Cincy, you have to out score them to beat them).

Only 2 teams can guarantee themselves the #1 seed in the AFC by winning out at this point. KC and PIT. Xmas game is HUGE.

I have the plane engines warming, the champagne cork is 30% coming out, all puddings have been let out the box, Ahoy cannons are loaded……….

Thursday Night at my house will be a scream heard around the world……………

Remember, there is no “reverse cowgirl” in Alabama as no-one turns their back on family……………….

(Side-note). I am NOT from Alabama

You DO NOT GET to say Roll Tide again until you're baptized!!!

I would seriously consider starting Fields in Cleveland due to the very short week.

Before you crucify me….What I’m saying is Russell is a 35 year old QB that is coming off a very physical and emotional game .. and a poor performance where he looked indecisive, slow of foot and displayed very hesitant decision making. To me, he looked like a guy needs some downtime. imho..

Put the young buck with the fresh legs in there!
We win by at least two scores with him in Cleveland and Russell gets some well deserved time off(10 days) before heading into the meat grinder of the remaining schedule, and beyond…
Sign me up. This is good logic...

Cleveland just lost another Tackle for the season... its gonna be a rough spot for them

Jack Conklin will probably start at LT.. he just got back five games ago from a injury that wiped out over a year for him. He has been covering RT...

They lost starting LT Wills for the season and just lost Dawand Jones for the year too... they already have James Hudson and Hakeem Adeniji on the IR
10 sacks???

I wouldn't say the Bengals is a trap game. They have been scoring alot. I'm sure we won't take them lightly. If any games are trap games it would be either Browns game

Not really a trap game on the schedule. Steelers aren’t taking divisional opponents lightly. They saw Baltimore get beat by the clowns and the Bungles take them to the limits. Chiefs and Eagles are high end plays.

If they lose it won’t be because they are over looking them. It will be because they beat themselves or the opposing team beat them.

Just think it is a reach to think otherwise.

This isn't the Big Ben Steelers. Zero chance RW gets complacent especially after a zero TD game last week. These guys are sold into this system and it's huge that the new FAs/rookies have taken to Tomlin's team first attitude so quickly.

We have 2 franchise QBs with ZERO issues with either getting snaps. Both are actively supporting each other as well.
Queen is returning to his AP form
DJ is amazing as our #2 corner
Frazier and Mac starting to force their will on the OL
Williams with a GW TD in his first game after being blamed for a loss with his previous team.
Peyton making the most incredible no look INT i've ever seen.
Preston Smith getting a sack in his first game
Elliot solid AF
Biship 3 INTs the past 3 games

The only miss is Van Jefferson, so this is a pretty spectacular success rate when 50-50 is the norm.

Can’t predict injuries but our first round tackle looked the part too. How good could this OL be with our weakest link replaced by him?

The Skowronek pick up for free was a good play too, he’s looked great as a ST player and his blocking was excellent last game when he was getting some snaps. He seems like a great role player fit for this squad, glad to have him aboard too.

A lot of savvy moves have been made to build what appears to be a very deep squad.

Honorable mention to Moon as well, another guy that stepped up when called upon and contributed instantly.

DJ is good overall but has had his fair share of struggles as of late. Hopefully they remain hiccups.

Definitely one of the more difficult jobs on defense.

The family ownership is a NFL and city of Pittsburgh treasure.

The organization’s evaluators have done its due diligence and has acquired the proper physical
talent, and players with the mental acumen desired.

The head coach is a first ballot HOFer.

The fan base has become hungry again after years of mediocrity.

Everything is in its place..

Time to execute and deliver the prize!

I would add that this Steeler Diehard would like to see much more of Mlke Williams and Scotty Miller and much less of Van Jefferson. I almost typed Van Morrison.
I simply think our boy Van isn’t good enough to be starting and taking a majority of snaps. He doesn’t seem to get open so why not try something else.

DJ is playing on a banged up hamstring, so his last few games have not been up to his standard, but he's at least solid across from JPJ.

I like this as red zone optoins and I hope we do it soon:

WR 6'3" GP, Williams, Skowronek
TE 6'7" Washington 6'5" Pat
RB 6'1" Pattison 6' Naj

We have the height to be a ***** to defend in close, we just don't take shots into the EZ. Last game, the only EZ shot I remembered was the INT. You can't score in the red zone if you don't take shots into it.

And I was initially very excited about Van Jefferson coming here, but he does not have it anymore. Right now, he's the most frustrating WR I've ever seen, and that includes James Washington. I can give James a pass being a Z receiver and not getting as many targets as an X, but VJ is abhorrent as a route runner, can't get open, and has taken the X WR spot from 8+ targets a game to 2. Pathetic... If we didn't have Muth, this would be a wart that we could not overcome.

Look at remaining schedule

PITT——————————————————————- KC
Cleveland————————————————————-Carolina
Cincinnati ————————————————————LV
Cleveland————————————————————-Chargers
Eagles——————————————————————Cleveland
Baltimore—————————————————————Texas
KC————————————————————————PITTSBURGH
Cincinnati ————————————————————-Denver

I see both teams losing 2 of the remaining, KC possibly 3

Make no mistake, STEELERS, in their house, can give KC all they can handle and will come out with a win.

So Thursday we get The Browns in Cleveland on a short week... the Browns season is ****, but you can expect them to play their super bowl vs us in their house...

After that we have a ten day break before we take on Cinci in Cinci coming off their bye
If the Bengals lose tonight, they have seven losses, so any hope of a playoff birth will be on the line when they face us..

Then we finish this divisional run with a home game vs the original Turds.. by then one would expect the Browns to be checking out for the season, but who knows?

A 3-0 run here virtually clinches the division

There would be 4 games left...
With a victory either vs the Ravens or Bengals and the tiebreaker would be clinched..

The Ravens have 2 more losses than us and only six games left..if we can win these next three weeks and beat the bengals but lose the other 3 games they'd have to win out to get the division
You are a complete & utter Fking moron

This team has 11-6 written all over DIC

Will that be good enough for a 3 seed or do the Rats push them to a 5 seed? Thats my only question as we head down the stretch.

Think it all hinges on our next head to head vs the Rats, what will likely be the difference between a home game vs a 6 seed WC team or on the road vs the Texans. Likely the difference between a 60/40 shot at escaping Groundhog’s Day at home or getting summarily dismissed by the Texans as we hoist another Tomlinship.

Its too bad ya had to keep the champagne on ice. Was ready to celebrate last night.
