This is different because the GA indictment is the only one that even has a possibility of sticking. The thing is, in order for them to prove the case, they pretty much have to prove that Trump KNEW that he lost and despite that he still went ahead with various deceptions. So this evidence is their defense. I'm sure they do have tons of reports and documents pointing out irregularities. His lawyers just convinced him to save it for trial.
As for previous bombshells, I do think they had evidence to present but that all got shut down when court after court simply refused to even hear the cases.
That could be the biggest backfire in this case. What happens when Trump's lawyers start asking about the burst pipe that never happened, and the Republican poll watchers being sent home? Right now a lot of Dems think those are made up conspiracy theories. What happens when they find out that actually happened? Sure, those who are still wearing masks and can't wait for thei next booster won't be swayed but a large portion will.
It won't matter even if it is clear to the world that the prosecution failed miserably to prove wrongdoing.
