Trump is a buffoon but he is not responsible for the divisions in this country.

I can't pinpoint the exact date it happened but somewhere along the way the mainstream media in this country decided it was their job to tear down anyone who doesn't believe in its ultra-liberal viewpoint. The attacks went from policy disagreements and became personal. I would say it probably kicked off after Sore Loserman weren't allowed to keep recounting votes in a million made-up ways until they got the result they wanted, and it snowballed from there.

And no president has done more to divide black and white than Barack Obama. Here's a man who had the chance to be a powerful role model of success for a disadvantaged community but instead chose to preach victimhood over and over and over.

For all our sake I hope that's not true. Trump bankrupting an entire country is not something I'd like to see. I don't think he'll last long enough to accomplish that. Granted, it is his unique skillset, running a business into the ground. Just dont want to see it happen to America.

Again, is that what we should be focused on? The past is the past, what's done is done. Are you suggesting the national media has treated Presidents in the past with kid gloves? You don't think there's been animosity between the WH & the press for decades running?

Besides whine, ***** and moan, what has Trump done to unite the country? I think that's a fair question.

LOL!!! How's that economy going? Bankrupt you say? Don't make me laugh. You are very very deluded if you don't see that the economy is absolutely thriving. Either that or you just refuse to admit it. Oh wait, Obama did it! I forgot.

It's an irrelevant question. There is nothing he could do to unite the country. He could cure cancer and solve world hunger and some would still consider him the devil. As he himself said he could shoot someone and some people would still defend him. He's not as great as his supporters insist and he's not as bad as his detractors do. I sure would like to have someone I really liked and respected in office, someone soaring and inspiring. I've been wishing for that for a long time now. Unfortunately that was not one of the options presented.

The economy has been steadily improving for the last 7 or 8 years... personally I think the president, whoever he or she may be, has little to do with it.

You can think they're the worst thing that ever happened to the country. But then you work harder to win the next election. When you consistently reject the results of elections that you don't win, what you want is a dictatorship.

I agree. Who gives a **** what the world thinks. Trump has stopped giving handouts to all of those countries that don't take care of themselves. He is getting the world off welfare just like he did here in the states.

We've been indirectly paying for Europe's generous welfare and health benefits since the end of WWII. One of the inescapable facts of life is that it takes Capitalism to support Socialism.

If we've learned nothing else in history, we know that any time you try to have something banned, you are guaranteeing it's success. You try to ban an album for being controversial, kids are going to buy 5 million copies of it. You try to ban a movie, it's going to be a huge box office draw. A lot of times people patronize these things just as a reaction to somebody trying to censor something they don't like, maybe just to see what all the fuss is about or maybe just to rub it in their face. It's human nature.
