Drain the Swamp!

Bigger than Vindman: Trump scrubs 70 Obama holdovers from NSC

President Trump is making good on his promises to “drain the swamp” and cut Obama-era holdovers from his staffs, especially the critical and recently controversial National Security Council.

Officials confirmed that Trump and national security adviser Robert O’Brien have cut 70 positions inherited from former President Barack Obama

I remember hearing that in His last year Bomma greatly increased the number of people in the NSC and other places mostly by moving political appointees into civil service positions where it wouldn't be as easy to get rid of them. He also increase the number of people with security clearances, i.e. access to sensitive information. As we see now, this was an effort to set up a shadow government to keep an eye on the next administration, be it Hildebeast or Trump.

Trump’s ‘accomplishments,’ 319 so far, drive voters to support him

President Trump’s success at making good on hundreds of campaign promises is helping to drive voters to support his reelection, according to a new survey.

Key among his achievements applauded by voters has been his boost in black and Hispanic employment and making the United States an energy exporter.

In the latest Zogby Analytics poll shared with Secrets, several of the 319 achievements touted by the White House were tested, and in eight of 10, a plurality of voters said it would make their support “more likely.”

“When we presented respondents with a list of ‘accomplishments’ touted by the Trump administration, we asked respondents if each would make them ‘more or less likely’ to vote for President Trump in 2020. Eight out of the 10 accomplishments the Trump administration has touted as a result of their doing were cause for a plurality of respondents to say they were more likely to vote for Trump in 2020,” said the analysis from pollster Jonathan Zogby.

“The four most popular accomplishments were: African-American unemployment at the lowest rate in history (48% more likely, 27% less likely), the United States is a net natural gas exporter for the first time since 1957 (48% more likely, 30% less likely) U.S. oil production recently reached an all-time high (46% more likely, 34% less likely), and President Trump's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (46% more likely, 35% less likely),” he added.

But dragging him down were the president’s actions on climate change, his withdrawal from the Paris climate accord, and his support of oil pipelines.

In his latest survey, Zogby included a large sample of blacks and Hispanics to gauge their views better and found that Trump is doing better among them than he did on Election Day 2016. Trump’s job approval among Hispanics is 47% and 26% with blacks.

The tide continues to rise.

Trump NH Rally: 25% of Attendees Were Democrats, 17% Didn’t Vote in 2016

Last night President Donald Trump held a rally in New Hampshire ahead of the Democrat primary there today in an attempt to rattle them (and flip the state for himself in November). Some ralleygoers began lining up thirty-five hours before it began.

The rally was noticeably shorter than other recent rallies because Trump wrapped this one up early to head to Dover Air Base in Delaware to pay respects to the two U.S. soldiers that were killed in Afghanistan over the weekend.

Hillary Clinton defeated President Trump in New Hampshire by a razor thin margin of 46.8% to 46.5% in 2016, or by fewer than 3,000 votes. The Libertarian Party’s Gary Johnson garnered nearly 31,000 votes (4.1% of total), more than the margin Trump lost by. Johnson is worth mentioning because he’s more likely to have taken votes away from Trump than Clinton (while a candidate like the Green Party’s Jill Stein takes more votes away from Democrats than Republicans).

Trump’s campaign manager Brad Parscale has made a habit out of collecting data on the attendees to Trump’s rallies, and the numbers from those at New Hampshire shows President Trump continuing to attract a broad coalition of voters heading into the November election.

According to Parscale, the stats from New Hampshire are as follows:

52,559 tickets were sold
24,732 voters were identified/polled (41% of which were from New Hampshire)
17% of attendees didn’t vote in 2016
25.4% of attendees were Democrats
This is in line with data from other recent rallies in key swing states (and New Jersey):

At President Trump’s rally in Ohio, nearly half of attendees were either Democrats or independents. Twenty-three percent identified as Democrats, while 20.9% identified as independents.
At President Trump’s rally in Wisconsin, the majority of attendees (57.8%) were not Republicans.
And at President Trump’s rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, 26.3% of attendees were Democrats, and 10% didn’t vote in 2016.
It’s hard to imagine any Democrat running for president to attract an audience that’s >25% Republican – or willing to wait outside thirty-five hours to hear them speak.

Well, Trump most certainly lied one time I can think of. He said, "I will keep winning so much, you'll get tired of winning."

Yes, Tibs, mocking Trump for his physical appearance is the way to go with that incredibly photogenic group of (D)ims.

Yup...Bwahahaha

The US cut its CO2 emissions more than any other country in the world in 2019, helping to keep total global emissions from growing past 2018’s record-breaking high

  • The International Energy Agency released its 2019 report on CO2 emissions
  • Global CO2 emissions in 2019 matched the record-breaking levels of 2018
  • The US, EU and Japan all reduced their emissions year-over-year
  • But the gains were offset by the growing emissions from the rest of the world
  • The Agency believes the numbers are still cause for hope since growth stopped

Today, the International Energy Agency released its report on global CO2 emissions, which totaled 33 gigatonnes in 2019.

The figure matched the total global emissions for 2018, which were the highest ever recorded in human history.

In spite of the dire figures, the IEA claimed the findings were ‘grounds for optimism,’ pointing to the fact that total emissions hadn’t risen over all, while the global economy had grown by 2.9 percent, suggesting economic prosperity can continue even with a focus on managing greenhouse gases.

According to IEA Executive Director Faith Birol, the report, ‘is evidence that clean energy transitions are underway – and it’s also a signal that we have the opportunity to meaningfully move the needle on emissions through more ambitious policies and investments.’

The report splits CO2 emissions into two main groups: those from advanced economies, meaning the United States, the European Union, and Japan; and those that come from the rest of the world.

CO2 emissions from the advanced economies dropped from 11.7 gigatonnes in 2018 to 11.3 gigatonnes in 2019.

The US led the reductions with a 140 million ton decline in 2019, a 2.9 percent less than its 2018 emissions, making it the country with the single biggest CO2 reductions in the world.

America 2020. Get used to it.

The landslide victory in November is going to be epic. Trump vs. a crazy senile commie or vs. a crazy gay commie.

Trump MAMA 2020: Make America a Monarchy Again?

Please, if you would, explain how Trump is trying to be King of America. Admittedly, I don't twitter or instagram, so if he said something, I missed it.

The idea is ridiculous on it's face. There is literally nothing Trump could do to accomplish such a thing, so even if he wants to be King, it's never going to happen.

Americans, even the ones that worship Trump, would never stand for it. I don't understand the point in worrying about such a thing.

LOL....Tibsy don't need no stinkin' facts Sarge. Libs throw out a narrative and keep throwin' it out 'till they think everyone believes it. He says it's so, so it's so damn it.

I don't obsess over this stuff the way a lot of folks do. If I happen to see something, I'll come here and discuss it with others, but I don't spend much of my time searching out articles and tweets and videos that confirm my own biases. There's no point in it.

Well there are some that come on here with that sort of agenda and they may just be compensated for their efforts......sooo there's that.

If we starts seeing legit signs of Trump 2024 then start worrying about King Trump

Tibs supports a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, to prevent Trump from being a monarch.

Right, Tibs?

The significance of those numbers are incredibly telling. As biased as polls are, as biased as media outlets are, look at results.

These results are damning for Dems.
