Inside the Antifa siege on ‘war zone’ Portland and the resistance to the National Guard cleaning it up

Violent Antifa criminals have laid siege to the ICE detention center in Portland, Oregon, for over 100 days.

Every night the encampment of wackos — some dressed as unicorns or chickens — blast loud music, engage in anti-government chants over loudspeakers and megaphones, and when they violently clash with law enforcement officers, it reverberates around the neighborhood.

Since the protest started on June 2, neighbor Cloud Elvengrail has barely slept. Assaulted and bullied by the Antifa goons, she describes the area as a “war zone” and “terrifying.”

Trump announces Israel and Hamas have reached deal, says all the hostages will be freed ‘very soon’

US President Donald Trump tells Reuters that a Gaza hostages-for-ceasefire deal hammered out in Egypt represented “a great day for the world.”

“The whole world has come together on this one, Israel, every country has come together. This has been a fantastic day,” Trump tells Reuters in a brief telephone interview

“This is a great day for the world. This is a wonderful day, a wonderful day for everybody,” he says.

Meanwhile, Liberals have united to denounce Peace as evil, declaring war and loss of humanity is an essential human right.

Funny thing is, Portland is one of the whitest cities in the U.S.

We have heard this story before. Hopefully it sticks this time at least until the hostages are freed. The last ceasefire lasted a couple months. I don't think it matters what Trump or anyone does they are always going to be fighting.

...they are always going to be fighting.

I don't think it is permanent. I don't believe anyone really does. As long as you attended high school history classes, one should understand the centuries of never-ending conflict in the middle east.

This is STILL a reason to celebrate however.

Flogtard is falling for the Demonrats weak, corrupt, deceptive attempts.

Numerous Democrats have gone to the nice parts of Chicago - DURING the day - and filmed themselves next to the lake saying "See! Chicago is safe!"
Numerous Democrats have gone to different areas of Portland - DURING the day - and filmed themselves in the nice area of Portland saying "See, it's safe!"

I heard a couple epic rebuttals to these retarded attempts yesterday.

1. Martha MacCallum said something to the effect of, remember any major flood we've had, for instance. You can go to the site of the disaster, and look towards one street and see blocks of utter devastation. Then look the opposite direction and see unscathed, normal neighborhoods unaffected. That doesn't negate the flood disaster in the opposite direction.

2. Paul Mauro mentioned it's all about perspective. He said people think when I'm on TV as a guest commentator right after some major news incident that I'm sitting in a NYC studio. Much of the time I'm sitting inside a small closet in my home. A coat closet that I've fashioned into a mini-studio to support interviews from home. No one knows I'm in a closet.

Before Trump fixed DC, I could have gone to SE DC (the bad sector) and made films of nice public parks looking serene. That doesn't erase the violence at night.

You can go to the south side of Chicago and film peaceful blocks. That doesn't erase the daily violence that occurs.

Same with Portland. The entire city doesn't have to be burning to have an actual violence problem.

Dems continue to want to tell us - don't believe your lying eyes. We've seen the videos. We've seen Andy Ngo and Nick Sortor's reporting. We know what's happening, despite their desperate attempts to create a false narrative.

Yep, if the hostages are exchanged, it's a big deal and the most that can be expected.

Actually… the Old Testament will tell you everything you need to know about this conflict…it’s as old as time itself..
I’m staying hopeful though.. this for some reason seems different..

I have a good friend that used to live in Grosse Pointe Woods and visited them about 10 years ago. The difference on one side of the street, GPW and Detroit on the other was mind blowing. Manicured lawns verse a scene from a bombed-out village in WWII Germany.

Downtown Detroit Rock City is nicer than it was 10, 20 years ago. Still nothing like GPW or Auburn Hills and north, but much, much better than the Beirut in Michigan that it had become.

That's not far from USS. Sometimes, in the morning when it's safe, I drive through there for a dose of culture shock. And not far from there, at Oakwood and Fort St., is an Italian grocery where I get subs for the mill. It's pristine. No graffiti, no trash, never gets robbed. Even the crackheads know not to mess with the Italians.
