Schumer applauds Trump on moving US Embassy to Jerusalem

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Monday praised President the move of the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

“In a long overdue move, we have moved our embassy to Jerusalem. Every nation should have the right to choose its capital,” Schumer said in a statement. “I sponsored legislation to do this two decades ago, and I applaud President Trump for doing it.”

The statement echoed a sentiment Trump expressed in a video message presented at the embassy opening, in which the president said the move had “been a long time coming.”

Senate confirms two more of Trump’s judicial picks to the 7th Circuit

The Senate confirmed two more of President Trump’s judicial nominees to the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday.

In a 90-0 vote, Michael Scudder, a Chicago-based lawyer, was cleared and Amy St. Eve, a judge for the Northern District of Illinois, was confirmed by a 91-0 vote.

The Senate plans to vote on the confirmation of two other judicial nominees, one for the 6th and one for the 10th circuit, on Tuesday in a push by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Kentucky Republican, to reshape the federal bench.

If the Senate also confirms Mr. Trump’s two nominees on Tuesday, he will have had 21 judges confirmed to the circuit courts since his inauguration.

On Early Today this morning, the anchors read headlines that slammed the embassy and made fun of Ivanka. They didn't have a positive spin on the embassy at all- just focused on the negative. It was disgusting.

S. Carolina Governor signs letter backing President Donald Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster and a group of fellow governors are backing President Donald Trump’s nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, citing what they called Trump’s “transformative efforts to bring peace to the Korean peninsula.”

The letter follows one from 18 U.S. House Republicans, who earlier this month formally nominated Trump for the award amid preparations for a historic summit with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. The National Republican Senatorial Committee has also promoted the idea, sending an email encouraging supporters to “Nominate President Trump to Win the Nobel Peace Prize”

By the end of Trump's first term and IF he is re-elected, you will see some very meaningful change in the Middle East peace process, particularly the relationship between Israel and a potential Palestinian state.

The violence and "protests" you're seeing is Hamas looking for international sympathy and a last gasp because they know they are losing big. Trump's change in policy and sanctions on Iran and Russia (it's major funding sources) is going to take it's toll. And the U.S. has given full support to both Israel and Saudi Arabia to ramp up defense spending in the Middle East.

The truth is, just like the cold war, Russia and Iran can not out spend the U.S., Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Eventually those countries will come back to the table for some degree of peace. Even Iran is just a joke compared to Saudi Arabia. I mean, they will eventually wake up the fact that there is no reason their economy shouldn't be as good as Saudi Arabia's. They have more than twice the population and 2/3rd the GDP. What is there antagonism and sponsored terrorism getting them?

In 3 years, Hamas will be broken and the Palestinians will want some degree of peace. It will never get fixed completely, but it will be better than the way Obama left it, which was to embolden and finance Iran and Russia (which emboldened and financed Syria and Hamas) and gave rise to the illogical idea they could "win" or be "equal" with the west

Every day, I see the results of Obama's failed foreign policies around the globe. He has so much blood on his hands it's insane.

The stubborn haters can not, can not accept that he actually earned it. Their limited reasoning abilities combined with their envious subconscious will not process this event, possibly ever.

Game Over, Anti-Trump Democrats: Trump CIA Nominee Clinches Enough Votes For Confirmation

The ballgame is over on Gina Haspel’s confirmation battle. She’s President Trump’s nominee for CIA director. She will be the first female director in the agency’s history.

Nevertheless, the process has been a mini-war on women, with dedicated left-wingers pushing the usual talking point: ‘yeah, she’s a woman, but she’s not a real woman.' Translation: only liberal women can be true feminists and only liberal women can benefit from feminism.

Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) announced his support of Ms. Haspel, who along with Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV), Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND), Joe Donnelly (D-IN), put her nomination over the top

Sen. Manchin better finally change parties if he wants to keep his job.

Hold the Peace Prize, Dear leader says giving up nukes is off the table. Maybe Trump can win War prize, I smell one coming.

Wow you are so ignorant of how this negotiating thing goes. With a man like Kim he is going to poke and prod the whole way to the end. He is an idiot, luckily Trump will stay the course and return the rhetoric right back at him and still get what he wants.

that sexist, racist ************!!!!!!!!
IMPEACH HIM NOW!!!!

And in an impromptu moment, Trump invited the family of Miosotis Familia on stage. Familia joined the New York Police Department in 2005 and was shot point blank last year in her car while on duty in the Bronx.

“These are special people,” Trump said, after calling Familia’s elderly mother, Adrianna Valoy, up to the stage, embracing her, kissing her on the forehead, and then holding her hand through the end of his remarks.

“We weren't going to bring you up, but I looked at you in the audience and I said, you have to come up because you're representing something so important. You understand that? She loved the department. She loved being a police officer. She loved her job. She was respected by everybody," Trump said as Familia's mother stood close by.

Finally a President who has the balls to openly support Israel with no strings attached.

Hamas official: 50 of the 62 Gazans killed in border violence were our members

A Hamas official on Wednesday acknowledged that 50 of the 62 Palestinians reported killed during Gaza border riots on Monday and Tuesday were members of the Islamist terrorist group, bringing the total number of known members of terror groups among the fatalities up to 53.

“In the last rounds of confrontations, if 62 people were martyred, 50 of them were Hamas,” said Hamas official Salah Bardawil in an interview with the Palestinian Baladna news outlet.

An incredible new portrait of President Trump contains a subtle message for social justice warriors and college snowflakes about leaving their liberal mindset behind and learning to succeed in the real world on their own.

The painting, titled Teach a Man to Fish, shows a young man sitting on a bench alongside President Trump, accompanied by a tackle box. The President is holding a fishing pole, offering it to the young man.

The message is from an old proverb which helps explain the mindset that divides Republicans who are pro-work and reward and Democrats who like handing out free gifts.

Serious question. Do you want this President (therefore the country) to succeed?

Even though I hated Obama with every fiber of my being, I didn't want him to fail (which he did). To wish for your country to fail is almost treasonous.

Wait a sec, rethink that...did you really want Obama to succeed? I sure as hell didn't. No one here did.

He was not an "America first" president, Obama was a globalist who wanted to knock this country down a few pegs, a globalist who vowed to "fundamentally change" America. We didn't want America to be fundamentally changed.
Most didn't want Obamacare, he succeeded. He would have banned all guns he could, and regretted not being able to enact stricter gun control....his policies blew.

Would have wanted Sanders or Hillary to fail as well.
