The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

Although US Steel is based in Pittsburgh, the meme could make one believe that this factory is also in Pittsburgh, it’s in Illinois.
Regardless it’s true, and it’s what we voted for!

Yes, Donald Trump was involved in actions that led to U.S. Steel firing up a dormant factory on two separate occasions at the company's
Granite City Works plant in Illinois.

Yep, that’s not in Pittsburgh.
The city that I love and grew up in is now just symbolic of the once mighty American Steel industry and symbolic of the once mighty American football organization.
Hopefully, both situations change from symbolic to realistic again soon.

When you have a political problem caused by incompetence in 2014 and didn't resolve it since then, its your problem. At this point, rising costs are a consumer issue that drains the entire economy, not one that has more meaning or blame for either political party.

Trump is deciding to deal with Venezuela instead of Healthcare. Odd choice for the guy who was gonna end the Ukraine conflict on Day 1.
The drugs coming from there are part of the healthcare crisis.

They are coming from Colombia. Thru Venezuela.
Trump just pardoned the Honduran President responsible for thousands of kgs of coke and hundreds of millions in cartel dough.
Neither Colombia or Honduras has oil, but Venezuela has exactly the type of crude that Houston refines. And Chevron has either screwed, or been screwed by local politics for decades.

This is about oil.

Possibly and if so, it is better to have a source in this hemisphere than in the middle east to supplement our supplies. Like it or not that is a geopolitical reality.

Let's give it to Chevron. They'll have a few jobs for the locals.

Should grab the Amazon next.

That’s one of my customers though. 😎. I saw a stat the other day that blew me away. In the ‘70s there were 140 blast furnaces in the U.S. Today there are 12. EAFs (electric arc furnaces) that are fed with scrap metal have taken over. Those suck compared to the pure steel making method because copper can leach out and cause a pink blush stain on the surface. EAFs suck. Nerd alert over.
