There’s a worker at the drive thru by my office. Big dyke with short purple hair. For some reason she likes me. When I order at the speaker she greets me all happily, asks how I’m doing, etc… when I get to the window I feel a little guilty because if she/he really knew me it would hate my guts.

And she drives a Subaru Outback, verified.

Beef is up because supply is short. Has been for a while, and could take several more years to recover, provided our cattle don’t suddenly catch another disease that requires tens of thousands of them to be put down all at once. Again. Has nothing to do with the economy or any policy, there just aren’t nearly as many cows and demand is as high as ever.

Not sure about bacon. I don’t eat much bacon so I don’t pay much attention to the price.

I don't go that far with my tinfoil hat. Covid happened anyway but IT WAS convenient for the Dems.

Remember I'm in a line of work where I pay attention to how and why people die.
Speaking of, I've had three folks this month who died from pneumonia, which is kind of unusual to have that many.
