Forgiveness is more powerful than punishment… which is what Christians believe as opposed to Muslims..

However, we’re talking about the president of the United States here… this wasn’t you or I posting a blasphemy type meme..

Trump will be forgiven by most of MAGA and this will be kicked down the road, however, that doesn’t lessen the need for him to be more careful, especially with social media..

I get it, and I have been silent on it on purpose.

Just remember that God needs no one to defend Him. He's got this one well in hand, as He saw it hundreds of centuries ago.

Further, you have to expect those of this word to behave as such. Trump is anything but repentant, so expect him to act like someone who is still not submitting his life to the lordship of Jesus. This is what very powerful self-centered sinners do.

I pray for him, and hope he hears God's call to true humility and repentance soon.

I'll be praying for you. A walk with God is far more important than anything else, even US politics.

While Trumps antics are childish, the Vatican is a walled city with their own army. Supporting a world with no borders while ignoring mass murders isn't being neutral, just hypocritical.
 
You can certainly tell that Pope Leo is an American, because it seems that politics trumps Christian doctrine.. just like with most Americans, especially those on the left..

As a catholic, I am disappointed that Pope Leo is so outspoken on political matters..
But also, at the same time, our president needs to learn that he can’t swing at every pitch, especially those that involve religious leaders, no matter the faith..
Let it go, Trump. Just keep focusing on what you’re doing your policies and your commitment to America is making a difference.

I never knew anything about that, but then I don’t live my life in the political sphere so much anymore and haven’t for a while.

It’s disgusting, just like what Trump did. I simply don’t understand how what one person did means you can or can’t be upset about somebody doing the same thing. I understand the hypocrisy of certain individuals, but it shouldn’t make something more or less reprehensible.
 
imagine the Left's uproar if Trump had Melania in a burka, then discard it and go for a swim in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool wearing an American flag bikini.

As a Christian I have the ability to laugh at these type of things because I know it is not my place to judge. Unlike certain other religions I am not called to kill those who mock or blaspheme God I am called to forgive and have grace. Imagine had he been portraying Allah. I believe God has as sense of humor even if doesn’t approve of something. But that’s certainly just my opinion.

Not so sure if it’s God‘s sense of humor, but his supreme understanding that his creation called human beings are imperfect and are broken…
He will continue to love us all just the same and help heal us , if we follow his word and move closer to his direction..
