Trump Erases Obama Legacy as the Fake Media Obsesses Over Tweets

At the current pace, by the end of March, 2018 it will be as if Barack Obama never served as President. By the end of March 2018, I believe that President Donald Trump will have signed congressional bills that repeal and replace ObamaCare, and which significantly reform both personal and corporate income taxes.

At that point, what will be left of the admittedly paltry Obama policy legacy? Not much. In reality, in fact, it’s already almost all gone, and the lazy, self-absorbed political activists who dominate the fake news media have barely noticed, mainly because they’ve been too busy obsessing over the two or three 140-character messages the President sends out on his favorite social media platform every morning.

Last week was a great example: While the fake journalists at the NYTimes, CNN, MSNBC the WaPo and the three broadcast networks gave most of their print space and air time to rants about the President’s latest tweets about Mika and Joe, the President’s EPA announced the full repeal of the horrible Obama-era power grab called the Waters Of The United States rule. This massive regulation would have basically given the EPA authority to regulate any temporary or permanent body of water in the entire nation, including puddles in your lawn, drainage ditches, overflowing swimming pools, and even city streets that are designed to carry storm water that ultimately drains into rivers and lakes.

Last week was also what the President and his Administration called “Energy Week”, a week in which Mr. Trump and his various cabinet officials announced all manner of pro-energy development actions they will be implementing in the coming months and years. Again, the fake media, which has always firmly opposed U.S. energy development that doesn’t involve killing millions of birds and bats each year with windmills and solar arrays, barely took notice as the anti-development policies of the Obama years continued their rapid and systematic disappearance from the books. They were just too busy debating whether it was Joe or the President or his son-in-law who first brought up the whole National Enquirer thing.

When the House of Representatives easily passed its Sanctuary Cities bill and Kate’s Law, again the fake news media failed to notice the steady advance of new laws that will help to completely erase the open borders, lawless policies of Mr. Obama. They were all too busy obsessing over the latest futile gesture of congressional Democrats, this one a bill that proposes to remove President Trump from office due to mental incompetence. No one in the fake news media could be bothered to point out the irony of the fact that the 25 sponsors of the bill are all pretty much mentally incompetent themselves.

So if you’re a Trump supporter who worries that all this tweeting is distracting the President from getting his job done, stop it. He’s getting the job done more effectively and efficiently than any other president in modern times. The results are undeniable, and the fake media’s obsession over the President’s tweeting habits only makes it easier for Mr. Trump to keep systematically erasing all of the Obama policy legacy from our collective national memory.

Some observers even claim this has been Mr. Trump’s intentional strategy. That may be true, or it may not. Either way, it’s working.

Just another week in disappearing Obama legacy America. May it RIP.

That is all.

I was reading an opinion article from the head of Lawyers for Civil Rights or some such group. She basically said until we can reverse all of Trumps policies they will continue to act on O's justice department's minority initiatives. Lala land.

If we're lucky there won't be a fingerprint of Bomma left in two years.

The photo that went with that article says it all. POS is putting it mildly Tim.

obamaanthem.jpg

Yes the photo says it all. There were countless times that Obama showed his disdain for the country. Michelle did as well.

What irked me as a true Patriot was to watch that man in office for 8 years knowing he hated the America he inherited. Hated the Constitution, the majority that lived here, our Nationalism.

Then you have the likes of Tibs, et al, who somehow looked at that man as an American-loving, good-for-America President. It's mind boggling. He showed repeatedly that he didn't respect the flag, our military servicemen, etc. He physically demonstrated it. Somehow, they rationalize this away, as normal.

Says one thing. They too hate America as it is and really must have bought into his "fundamentally changing America" schtick because they hate the America we have.

Manufacturing Pickup Signals Boost to U.S. Economic Growth

American factories powered up in June at the fastest pace in nearly three years, with robust advances in production, orders and employment that indicate a firming in the economy, data from the Institute for Supply Management showed Monday.

Faster growth in orders and production in the final month of the quarter indicates solid demand that, together with rising exports, shows manufacturing is on solid footing. The ISM’s pulse of employment in the industry also indicates the government’s measure of factory payrolls, released as part of the Labor Department’s jobs report on Friday, will rebound in June after declining a month earlier.

The expansion was broad based, with 15 of 18 industries surveyed by the purchasing managers’ group posting growth in June. They included machinery, transportation equipment, computer and electronic products, and petroleum and coal products. The three reporting contractions were apparel, textile mills and primary metals.

The 2.9-point monthly gain in the ISM index, which was the largest jump since early 2013, is also notable as it comes amid fading expectations that the government will deliver a fiscal boost, via tax reform and infrastructure spending, in the near future.

“Everything was strong,” Timothy Fiore, chairman of the ISM factory survey committee, said on a conference call. Unless supply-chain constraints arise, “there’s really no reason” why the robust pace of manufacturing can’t continue, he said. At the same time, manufacturers are awaiting more clarity on potential policy changes such as taxes, regulations and tariffs on imported materials including steel, Fiore said.

  • Measure of export orders climbed to 59.5 in June from 57.5
  • Employment gauge increased to 57.2 from 53.5
  • Production index rose to 62.4, highest since February, from 57.1
  • A gauge of supplier delivery times advanced to 57, the highest since December 2014, from 53.1, indicating deliveries are taking longer
  • Order backlogs measure rose to 57 from 55
  • Index of prices paid dropped to 55, lowest since November, from 60.5

But it's not. It's the backdrop for how completely unhinged Trump has become. It is the backdrop for this sad and embarrasing point in American history.
Actually, what's sad and embarrassing, is your popping up a bowl of corn, and watching reruns of West Wing on VHS.

I think Bomma is staying out of the country to avoid extradition if anything big goes down.

That's probably for the better. I wasn't aware that Bob Beckel was fired from Fox news

REVEALED: Lawyers Now Explaining Why Bob Beckel Was Fired By FOX News
Fox News announced Friday that they fired “The Five” co-host Bob Beckel for “insensitive remarks” and now lawyers representing the offended employee are offering the full story.

Bob Beckel used to be a panelist on the FOX News show The Five. A few weeks ago, the network fired him but the details were a little sketchy. Now lawyers involved with the case are explaining what happened.

“Bob Beckel was terminated today for making an insensitive remark to an African-American employee,” Fox originally said of the termination. “Mr. Beckel stormed out of his office when our client, a Black IT employee came to service his computer, telling our client that he was leaving his office because he is Black,” the attorneys said in a statement.

I watch The Five fairly regularly. Beckel was ok. On the panel he was a lot like our typical Lefty naysayers on this board...he was prone to calling the Right racist (isn't this ironic and something we see so often? Democrats being the true racists when the gloves come off.). He fawned over Obama. He persistently claimed the AntiFa were not Leftists, but instead hired mercenaries. Ummm, Bob...from where? His arguments were often pretty often just nonsense. He was easy for the others to put in his place though.

Not sad to see him go. Don't care much either way save for seeing him go because he's a racist, true and through.

Beckel had a mean streak in him, and would show it at times. Not surprised to hear this story.

Winning against the media: Alternative media outlets exposing and fact checking corrupt mainstream media. Media errors being exposed proving out the media for regularly disseminating lies and errors to drive a narrative.

Tibselftardlodyte must LOVE how Breitbart is now regularly exposing MSM errors and corruption.

Media errors give Trump fresh ammunition

A string of high-profile corrections and retractions by major news organizations on stories about President Trump or his allies have fueled more allegations of bias in the mainstream press.

The relationship between Trump and the news media regularly hits new lows, with insults flying between the two camps and reporters warning that the president is inciting violence against journalists.

But Trump’s allies on the right believe the president’s claims that the mainstream media is “fake news” have been bolstered by recent missteps. They point to recent admissions from top news outlets — including CNN, the New York Times and the Associated Press — that bombshell stories were either overcooked or included incorrect details.

Adding insult to injury: Breitbart News, the pro-Trump media outlet that is scorned by many in the mainstream press, has been fact-checking their mainstream counterparts with some success.

Breitbart’s Washington political editor Matthew Boyle was first to call into question a CNN story on alleged ties between a Trump associate and Russia that was later retracted. Boyle was also reporting on an error in an Associated Press report when the newswire corrected and later rewrote the story.

Together, the corrections and retractions amount to only a few stories out of the thousands published every day. But the high-profile nature of the errors hurts the media's credibility at a time when the press is under more scrutiny than ever before, giving new political ammunition to critics of the mainstream press.

“There’s a dramatic difference in the degree of hostility the press has shown Presidents Trump and Obama,” said Tim Graham, a director at the conservative Media Research Center. “I guess it’s easier to make errors writing stories where Trump is twirling his villain’s mustache than when you’re writing about how tone Michelle Obama’s arms are.”

Last week, the New York Times and the Associated Press ran similar corrections acknowledging that reports on Russian interference in the 2016 election had overstated by more than a dozen the number of U.S. intelligence agencies that had signed off on the assessment.

Both outlets had reported that all 17 organizations that fall under the umbrella of the U.S. intelligence community had made the assessment. In fact, only four – the CIA, FBI, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the National Security Agency - had contributed to that conclusion.

The Associated Press correction was applied to four stories that had run from early April to late June.

The corrections were gleefully aggregated by conservative media outlets and bounced around social media on the right.

The AP ran into more trouble over the weekend after it ran a story about how Environmental Protection Agency administrator Scott Pruitt met privately with the CEO of a top chemical company, then decided to drop a ban on a widely used pesticide that has been shown to harm children’s brains.

The story insinuated that Pruitt had made the decision under pressure from a corporate lobbying campaign.

But while the meeting between Pruitt and Dow Chemical CEO Andrew Liveris was on Pruitt’s schedule, it never happened — an admission the AP made after Pruitt’s office and Breitbart pressed them for a correction.

The EPA and Dow Chemical both said the scheduled meeting at a hotel in Houston had been canceled, with the two men instead having only “a brief introduction in passing.”

The AP followed with a Saturday story — published without a byline — titled “EPA says Pruitt meeting with Dow Chemical head was cancelled.”

Breitbart took a victory lap.

“A Breitbart News investigation has led to the correction by the Associated Press–which originally resisted–of the fake news it printed as deeper questions of responsibility, accountability, and journalistic ethics consume the AP heading into Fourth of July weekend,” Boyle wrote.

It’s the second time Breitbart has been at the center of a media correction controversy.

Boyle was the first to call into question a CNN report alleging that Trump associate Anthony Scaramucci was under investigation for improper dealings with a Russian state bank. Meanwhile, Sputnik News, the Russian-backed news outlet, disputed CNN’s claim that the bank in question was also backed by Moscow.

Later that same day, CNN retracted the article. Several days later, three of its top journalists resigned.

“An organization of nearly 4,000 news professionals; an organization that has spent huge sums recruiting ever-greater reportorial muscle; an organization that promises both sides a fair shake; an organization that values right-on-the-money exclusives — it just cannot abide getting shamed by Sputnik and Breitbart,” Washington Post media critic Erik Wemple wrote at the time.

It has been a tough stretch for CNN. A few weeks earlier, the network had to retract a story authored by some of its most recognizable on-air talent after it was directly contradicted by public testimony from former FBI Director James Comey.

In that same testimony, Comey described a bombshell New York Times story alleging contacts between Trump campaign officials and Moscow as “almost entirely wrong.”

Most reports sourced to anonymous officials about the Russia investigation should not be trusted, Comey said, because those who are willing to talk don’t know about the investigations and those who do know about the investigations aren’t talking.

Last week, Vice News retracted two stories about how Disney would not give a robotic Trump figure a speaking role in its “Hall of Presidents” attraction.

Those errors come as Trump’s conservative media allies are increasingly on the hunt for media errors and alleged bias.

Conservative activist James O’Keefe has targeted CNN employees in a string of undercover sting videos. One video revealed a CNN producer criticizing Kellyanne Conway’s looks. A second video found CNN commentator Van Jones calling the Russia controversy a “nothing burger.” A third video showed a producer alleging the network was burying important stories as part of its obsession with Russia.

The media’s errors come as Trump and his allies launch a barrage of attacks aimed at undermining and calling into question the veracity of the news media.

Trump’s personal attack against the hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe and his weekend tweet showing him body-slamming a wrestler with the CNN logo emblazoned over his face have unified the press.

GOP lawmakers on Capitol Hill have condemned Trump’s attacks, as have a broad cross-section of newsmakers on the political talk show circuit, who called the attacks sexist or an incitement of violence against reporters.

“The basic premise is most of the elite media is center left and most of the country is center right,” conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “Combativeness towards the media plays well. Cruelty does not. And when the president crosses the line between combativeness into cruelty, he loses some of his base.”

But the White House has shown no sign it plans to let up in the war against the media and his allies are seizing on the missteps to chip away at press credibility.

“These people claim to be defenders of fact and truth but are only out to smear Trump and his supporters,” said Graham. “They’re stenographers for the resistance.”

As promised, targeting and fixing the ILLEGAL immigrant problem in the USA. Just more winning.

Targeted immigration arrests in San Diego area have more than doubled under Trump

he number of targeted immigration arrests in San Diego has returned to levels from before former President Barack Obama changed enforcement priorities in late 2014.

That’s in large part because of the broadened priorities mandated by President Donald Trump in a January executive order, according to Greg Archambeault, San Diego field office director for Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations.

Obama’s priorities focused on people convicted of felonies or multiple misdemeanors. Trump’s policy includes people charged with any level of crime and those who have final orders of removal, meaning an immigration judge has already signed off on their deportations.

From February through May of this year, San Diego’s fugitive operations team has arrested 547 people, according to data from ICE. That’s more than double the total for the same months last year, at 242, or the year before, at 267. In 2014, before Obama narrowed immigration enforcement’s priorities, San Diego’s fugitive operations team arrested 540 people in the same time frame.

“We’re still focusing on criminals, but we’re not confined to them,” said Clinton Johnston, assistant field office director for Enforcement and Removal Operations in San Diego. “It’s the ability for us to enforce the law across the board.”
