I know those people don't count for anything to Democrats now a days but its most of the people I know.

That's a 47% rise in just 2 & 1/2 years. I think people may knee jerk a little and pull back early next year until the election is resolved.

There are more people aligning with the progressive democrats message than everyone cares to believe..

I believe the root of the "progressive democratic" growing popularity is all about wage/monetary/health care imbalances that exist today...IMHO,the first thing the government needs to do is seriously reconsider the current minimum wage scale, and to look at making health care more affordable.... Not Obama care but a fair and equitable solution to the issue, without raising taxes and making it more expensive, or comprising the current quality of care, for those of us that currently have health care.

If this is rectified or at least seriously addressed by the current administration, I believe a lot of the noise and alignment with the progressive democratic movement will be seriously reduced..
IMO--This is why the progressives are getting the support from the general populace...
They either are ignorant to what the progressives actually stand for, or they are so downtrodden they will accept socialism, and the blatant disregard for our laws and Constitution to get those basic needs.

This is not our fathers or grandfathers America folks..Its a brand new populace and mindset about what America should be and look like, that is growing out there.

Sometimes you need to consider the opposition parties main concerns and address them in a serious manner...to continue to stay in power and push your parties agenda also..
If Trump is truly the genius he says he is, I'm sure he recognizes this...

It will all depend on who shows up to vote. Younger voters have always leaned more to the left, not having established themselves with employment or responsibility yet, and aren't concerned that all the free stuff isn't really free. If I were 100K in debt with student loans and was told someone will make it go away, I'd be tempted to listen, it's human nature to do so. The real problem that needs attention, is why it costs 100K for a bachelors degree.

Want to know the biggest thing I've learned in the last 4 years? Appearing Presidential is way, way, way overrated. I find that I don't care in the least how Presidential he behaves as long as he is looking out for the best interest of Americans. In fact, I didn't vote for him because I wanted someone who would act Presidential. I voted for someone who I wanted to kick *** and take names. I"m pretty happy overall.
