House Democrat leaders are walking back a planned vote Thursday that would officially endorse impeachment proceedings and say that the resolution would merely address the process of holding public hearings on the matter.

“This is not an impeachment resolution,” House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer told reporters Tuesday morning. “I don’t know what an impeachment resolution is.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters Monday that the planned vote was “not an impeachment resolution.”

So how is stamping out corruption in Ukraine cheating? The funds weren't held up and they never investigated Biden's son. So please tell me in your infinite wisdom what he did that was illegal.

Also anyone that supports Clinton should shut their stupid mouth when it comes to anyone cheating... guess how she won the primary over Sanders??? YUP.. cheating. So keep writing your book and leave the important discussion to the adults.
 
I said when the whole Russian Collusion thing started that they were going to get Trump on something. Anything. Yesterday a LTC from the NSC that actually participated in the call testifies that all mentions of Biden and the pressure Trump put on Ukraine was removed from the transcript. Now I'm not sure how on Earth you prove such a thing, but that is a pretty strong accusation. Not sure how credible it is, but I would hope that a military veteran would remain impartial and leave politics out of his testimony.

Still, to my knowledge, the Ukrainians got the aid and there was no investigation into the Bidens that I am aware of, so whatever pressure the President put on Ukraine, if any, certainly didn't work.

For my part, this **** is old. I am truly hoping for an impeachment at this point. That way all this **** is in public and we can see the evidence the Democrats have rather than this closed door nonsense where the Democrats can leak whatever they want, true or not, and have the media repeat it ad infinitum as if it were indisputable fact. I don't know what comes next, but I have yet to see any smoking gun, or even any evidence of fact. All it is leaked "information."

If the guy is guilty of all these crimes as so many people claim, surely this would be a slam dunk. Not just for impeachment, but criminal prosecution. But so far, nothing of the sort. Just flimsy accusations with even flimsier "evidence" backing it up.

If he is truly guilty, prove it. That is all you have to do. If you prove that he is guilty, no Republican that I know is going to support him at that point. I know I won't. How could you? But they have yet to prove anything. Just keep throwing one accusation after another. That's it.

Yet, I still think he is going to end up removed from office. Somehow, some way, they will get it done and Republitards in the Senate will make it so. They are going to do the "right thing" at the eleventh hour. All of these investigations into the origins of the FISA warrants and suck are going to magically disappear. See, congressional republicans are as much a part of the swamp as anyone else. Just watch.

So let me get this straight. Even if the guy is proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt to be guilty of the things he is accused of, that's just fine and dandy? He's our guy, and even though he's a criminal and shouldn't be in office, we'll burn DC if he is removed? Is that how it works? If so, we are a lot worse off as a nation than I thought, and that is coming from a guy that takes a pretty pessimistic view of just about everything that happens in politics.

And DC ain't gonna burn. ****, wake me when conservatives actually protest any of the wrongs foisted on them.

Tell me what law he broke... just one. Presidents aren't removed from office just on a whim. Clinton broke a law (perjury) and still wasn't removed. Trump hasn't broken one law and people are trying to remove him.
