If lying about a blow job warranted impeachment then so does Trump’s conduct.
That did NOT warrant impeachment. The Clinton impeachment hearings were a witch hunt from Ken Starr and ultimately they were about Starr's near maniacal hatred of the Clintons dating back to allegedly crooked real estate dealings. (See, I said allegedly. I'm being impartial.)
It's bewildering that some of you are perfectly okay with our President - any President - trying to shake down the head of a foreign country to go after a domestic political opponent in an upcoming election.
It is equally bewildering that you are ok with a high-profile American politician blatantly exercising corruption in order to set up his son. One can only assume that you feel Hunter Biden OUGHT to be allowed to get whatever job and income he can through his father's political connections and bribery. It seems you would be absolutely FINE if Trump got his son Baron a job in Nuclear Power Administration for say... 750k a year. Cause I guess that's not a problem for you. Baron could probably do as good a job as anybody, right?
Things would be so much easier for everyone if we didn't have an unhinged, criminal mob boss running the country, working with foreign adversaries to undermine our national security and our elections.

I can only assume you are either referencing Obama telling the "russkies" that he'd have more latitude to cooperate with them after his second election, or that you are referencing Hillary Clinton who sold the same evil russkies 1/4 of all our uranium rights. It sounds as though you are describing a place of rampant corruption. The kind of place where Joe Biden's kid gets a dream job although he has no prior experience whatsoever. Indeed, one would think that if a place was THIS corrupt, this perverse, it would be in the best interest of the U.S. to expose such corruption where it can. Unless of course the U.S. is not currently in the hands of the democrats. In THAT case, let's give Hunter a Christmas bonus, cause Russkies don't celebrate Christmas so MORE MONEY FOR CLAN BIDEN!
In closing, I just want to once again bring this minor point in to focus.
As I understand it, one of the major (indeed THE major) issue in this impeachment campaign is the idea that Trump used his political position and power to recommend an investigation of a political rival. (More directly a rival's son, but at the end of the day, potato potato.) This apparently is unethical and unconstitutional. Why? Because this alleged request for investigation was made during the run-up to an election and the obvious fallout could be the undermining of a political opponent. Fair enough? Ya?
So, and truly, I want to understand this, How is it NOT exactly the same situation with the democratic lead house pushing the Mueller Report, or chasing impeachment while requesting collaboration, testimony, even help from other foreign countries as they attack a political enemy in the lead up to an election? I mean there seems to be little to no doubt that what happened with Hunter Biden is "dirty". There is clearly some corruption and bribery there. Joe Biden himself brags about blackmailing the Ukraine government into getting rid of the investigator general who was previously looking into the Biden corruption case. So, if it is essentially unethical to request an investigation of a political rival in the lead up to an election, regardless of how obvious and clear the case is AGAINST said rival, how is it not equally unethical and unconstitutional for the democratic house to be doing precisely the same thing, (namely using their political power and connections to investigate a political rival during the lead up to an election?)
Moreover... If we slightly subvert the "follow the money" idea here to "follow the logic"... How does it help the democrats AT ALL to begin impeachment proceedings just 11 months before the election? Even at a fast rate, they cannot hope to have things resolved for at least 6 months. (And that's generous.) Even if they DID win, which is almost an impossibility, they best they could do is replace the President with the Vice President for a few months.
It doesn't make ANY sense at all. The only way it makes sense is if the democrats believe beyond any reasonable doubt that Trump will win the 2020 election. (Even then it makes more sense to begin the impeachment immediately upon commencement of his 2nd term.) The fact is, this entire move is geared toward one thing and one thing only. It is the desperate hope that the democrats can generate enough negativity and fear to somehow undermine the president in the 2020 election. Which AGAIN is a very clear and obvious abuse of their political power for personal gain.
Whether you like Trump or not, there can be no arguing that at BEST the democrats are guilty of the exact things they are accusing Trump of. At WORST, they are far more duplicitous and corrupt. They are demonstrating that they are willing to go to any means to stage a political coup to get their man/woman/person of indeterminate gender in office in 2020.
