The REAL difference between Bell and Conner

Emmitt Smith was a great and super productive RB... but Barry Sanders was way more talented... Sanders won zero super bowls, Smith 3....
Sanders Homerun or loss of yardage style may not have been as beneficial as Smith’s plow ahead between the beefy tackles style behind that dallas oline...

Look Connor fixes the red zone issue... he is probably a better two down back than Bell... bell is an every down back who can absolutely help on 3 rd downs and long distance plays... he also can add flexibility to our hurry up offense cause he can flex from wr to rb effectively

There can be a place for both and it can save Connors legs for the playoffs if done right...

I agree with what you said about Smith and Sanders, but Im not following your Bell vs Conner logic. Conner leads the league in 20+ yard runs and Bell had 3 all of last year. Conner has also been very good catching the ball. I just dont see that much difference in WR skills.

The better OC may be true to the better play calls but that's NOT Conner's fault and the fact remains JAMES CONNER gets the tough yards. Bells dancing is hard to block for and defenses just play patient better for that style (it was showing in the adjustments heavily towards end of season). No arguement can ntake away from JAMES CONNER what he has accomplished this season. JAMES was here and Bell was MIA.

Salute the nation
Trust me, I'm not taking anything away from James Conner. Nothing. I'm only pointing out the fact the fact that our new OC has made the necessary adjustments to make this offense a force. That is all. Adding Bell in his schemes is going to be fun!!!

Maybe this had something to do w/ the OC not calling the right plays??? Mr. Fitchner is doing a better job at calling plays when we need to make first downs and TDs...JMO
That and Connor just trying to get what's there, and not hesitating.

Total yardage per game started:

Bell = 129 yds per game
Conner = 135.6 yds per game

Mic drop...

I hope that lasts, ZERO chance it will last for 5 seasons, or even the rest of this season.

For what it's worth at the combine Connor was a 4.65 40 and Bell was a 4.6.

No idea what they'd run now though as Bell lost 15+ pounds after his first season and Connor looks sculpted in comparison with last year.

All I know is that Connor looks pretty damn quick.

Connor can avoid contact but when there is contact he initiates it like a wrecking ball. He seems to love it.
