Worse. He thinks it's a pick-up line.I hope that wasn’t meant as an insult. Coolie wears that like a badge!

You just listed 8 out of 22 starters as decent and no depth when the inevitable injuries creep up. Hardly a rosy picture.Sure rooneys can see the writing in the wall, they dint want to lose their fan base and as faithful as they have been to their head coaches it's also true that tomlin has probably completed a cycle and a fresh start with another coach in the search for the new franchise QB should be ideal.
Despite the bad drafting sometimes, there are core players set in both O and D:
Harris + freiermuth + Claypool + DJ is a young group of skill position players that could thrive with a decent Oline and a good QB
Watt + Minkah are the sure things but Highsmith, Witherspoon and even Sutton at nickel can be good team players and hopefully Heyward has a couple of years left in the tank to lead them.
Invest first and foremost in the trenches, then the following year get your franchise QB
Well I won't take it that far. But I do feel our frustration. Although I can't say I would mind if a different Rooney took the helm. When the problem doesn't get fixed at the lowest level, the problem lies higher up the food chain. You may hate the Cowboys and the Patriots, but give me a Jerry Jones or Kraft over the ownership we have now.
No thanks. I don't want ownership that sticks its nose in all the time. If the people you employ aren't doing the job you want, find someone else. When the problem doesn't get fixed at the lowest level, the problem lies higher up the food chain. 3 probowlers in d, 2 future probowlers at RB and TE, 2 starting WRs with a lot of progression left and 3 more D starters. You just listed 8 out of 22 starters as decent and no depth when the inevitable injuries creep up. Hardly a rosy picture.
Most first round playoff losses of any coach, ever.I call your "Never gets to a SB" and raise you a "Never wins a first round playoff game".

Hell no.When the problem doesn't get fixed at the lowest level, the problem lies higher up the food chain. You may hate the Cowboys and the Patriots, but give me a Jerry Jones or Kraft over the ownership we have now.
Agreed. I'd take a Jones or Kraft any day over someone who is uninvolved and prioritizes race over competence and effectiveness. When the problem doesn't get fixed at the lowest level, the problem lies higher up the food chain.
