Just 408 days into his presidency, Trump spends his 100th day on a Trump golf course

That's quite the milestone.

Almost fourteen months into his presidency, Donald Trump has reached a dubious milestone that none before him have achieved: He’s spent his 100th day at a golf club bearing his own name.

Considering he’s only been in office for 408 days, that means he’s spent almost 25 percent of his time at a Trump-branded golf club, including during the funerals of Parkland victims, while millions of Americans remained without water and power in Puerto Rico, and for an entire week after Christmas.

The landmark was reached on Saturday at Trump’s club in Palm Beach County, Florida. CNN reports that this is one of the four Trump courses that the president has visited since he took his oath, in addition to Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida; Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia; and Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Trump was extremely critical of President Obama’s golfing habits. Before he got into office, Trump infamously said that he wouldn’t have time to play golf if he was president. But since his inauguration, he has spent a staggering amount of time at his golf properties — and he is showing no signs of stopping any time soon. Around Christmas time, Trump spent nine out of 10 days playing golf. In January, he spent Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on the golf course.

Sometimes, Trump’s 18-hole excursions include famous golfers, such as Rory McIlroy or Tiger Woods. Occasionally, he’s joined by GOP lawmakers, such as Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

This is one of the most tumultuous times in Trump’s perpetually volatile presidency. Many Puerto Ricans still don’t have power. In the wake of the Parkland shooting, the country is embroiled in a debate over gun control — and Trump has offered no clear way forward. Trump’s impetuous announcement of tariffs on steel and aluminum imports has left the economy and international relations in flux. This week, one of Trump’s closest confidants, Communications Director Hope Hicks, announced that she will soon be resigning. Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference of the 2016 presidential election seems to be intensifying. His son-in-law and policy advisor Jared Kushner recently had his security clearance revoked.

Oh, and there’s the looming threat of nuclear war with North Korea.

Luckily for us, Trump is taking the time to practice his chip shots.

If true....100 days is excessive at this point...
I dont care what he has "accomplished" at this point...maybe he could of got more done?

Most of us work full-time....can you golf 100 days out of the last 400 and still have a job?

Jesus Christ! The guy has done more for this country in one year than O did in eight. I think the guy deserves a ******* golf break. How many hours do you sit on your *** and watch CNN every day?

Other than helping the rich(in other words himself) with a huge tax cut that the middle class will pay for in a few years what exactly has he accomplished for the country?

Oh wait...by "doing more for this country" you probably meant Russia....because in my country all he's done is divide people in a manner far greater than every president combined before him, and tried to undermine our institutions ,especially law enforcement....but then that's because he's a criminal. It makes sense.

My bad, carry on.

Quite honestly he probs gets alot of work done on the golf course. Oh and he is YOUR president

I should think you'd be happy about that. I was happy when Bomma was golfing since he wasn't in D.C. ******* up the country.

You might try pulling your head out of PMSNBC's *** and visit the sticky thread - The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning". Nearly a hundo pages of documented winning.

But since it doesn't get to you through your warped, extreme AltLeft filters, ya won't consume it.

I could if I was a semi pro golfer...

You are such a gullible turd. CNN itself debunked this falsity the day after the tax cuts passed. Everyone knows they will twist every single story possible against Trump but they couldn't with this one. They had to come clean after they posted a calculator predicting who would benefit from the tax cuts and then everyone realized that this "tax cuts for the rich" bullshit was stupid propaganda by inputting their own numbers and realizing they would benefit as well. Then they had to come out and admit that middle class people would benefit from them too. Try and catch up.

isn't the golf course essentially a part of one of Trump's homes? This is just like when Bush used to go home to Texas often and the media counted those as "vacation" days even though his home was equipped to function as the White House does.

This is much different than Obama who regularly took vacations to places other than his home

To bad this president couldn’t be like the last, and spend his time in the WH giving billions to our foes.

Trump relaxes and exercises in his back yard. So what? At least he doesn't smoke poles and abet terrorists like his limp-wristed lazy *** America hating socialist predecessor.

This is a problem I have with presidents that never served in the military. I question their work ethic and actual understanding the seriousness of warfare.

As I know, when I golf, my day is ruined to do anything. It's 6hrs and eats up the best part of your day. Afterward, you're usually wasting another couple hours at the 19th hole with a drink and a meal (though I know Trump doesn't drink). It can be a good tool for business, or building relationships. As president, you need to interact with more people than your 4some on a daily basis, so this can severely hamper time needed to meet with politicians/policy makers/strategists/foreign nationals.

I have no problem if he's golfing on the weekends, and vacation, but his statistical aberration is outside of that norm.

I look at presidents diffent when it comes to relax time. You damn sure they all are/we’re kept in the loop for when shot pops off. I look at the before and after pics of presidents and the daily stress toll has to be incredible. Having a day golfing, getting blow jobs from secretary or porn Stars is part of the job. ;-)

Congress is recessed fairly often. I believe all of Trump’s golfing coincided with weekends and with congressional recesses. And again, he’s going home. The golf course is his back yard. I see no difference between Trump going home on weekends or going to Camp David.

Obama and Mooch travelled excessively to places other than home. Mooch had a staff of 25. All other first ladies had a staff of 1 or zero. She had a staff of 25 and of course, they were paid by tax money. As were her lavish trips with her whole entourage.

The only reaso this is a story is liberals know how badly the Obama’s abused their privilege so they take any opportunity possible to try to make a case that others do the same. Truth is nobody is close to the fleecing of the Obamas. They even took the ******* furniture from the White House when they left to furnish their new mansion.

I have a problem with the time off from the last 3 presidents. But I suppose that is becoming the new norm...

I think the difference is that technology has made it possible for the Prez to “work from home". So now they are more free to travel. I don’t have a problem with them going home or going to Camp David because i see that as just working out of their home office. Security and everything else is already set up there so they can work.

i do have a problem with multiple trips to places other than their home locations. That costs tons of money to scout and secure unknown locations and to set everything up so they can work. I don’t think that “date night" should cost the country millions.

I agree, the technology age has made it easier to work from anywhere. Though you can't get **** done on a golf course. I've tried. the foursome behind you loses their **** if you slow play. And your foursome will get annoyed if you're on the phone instead of lining up your next shot.

I will add though, I'd rather Trump be at Camp David, or another government run vacation facility, instead of funneling taxpayer money into Mar A Lago. It's fiscally irresponsible.
