The top 15 passer ratings. How many did we play?

You miss the point. SLOWLY STATED.....We haven't played many good QB's and other teams have faced more. I'm using the QB rating system, but there are others. I'll offer you what Ark balked on. List your own top 15 QB's. And I'll still show you other teams have played more of them.

If you have to micro-analyze looking for an out on the given facts your grasping for straws that really don't stand out.

However, if you want to see Cousins QB rating in week #1, go for it. He was awful and would not rate in the top 15, and he's one of the three top QB's we played season to date using the QB rating system by the NFL.

Micro-analyze? If that what you think it is, then you must also believe 1+1 = 3.

Your topic is a basic, which is fine, but your proof is insufficient because the data is elementary. You might as well say the sky is blue because you painted it.

A true assessment of the defense is a combination of many statistics used together to collate an finite equation.

I'll use information from a data mining site which uses DVOA formulas. Our D is ranked 8th this week, 11th last week. So as a whole I would say at this time the D is playing well. Forget about your single QB rating to quantify your belief the defense sucks. Which is fine that you believe it, but the FACTS show this week Pitt is ranked 8th overall.

I know you will respond but it doesn't matter what you say. Your data is flawed and your statement is incomplete because if it.

Ike,

That is too hard to read. If you want to list your 15 best QB's as I requested, I'll read it.

My top 15 QB's is irrelevant to your question about the strength of the defense. QB play alone doesn't indicate a defense's ranking. If you believe that, then nothing else needs to be said.

I added the link to Football Outsiders who uses DVOA statistics. Enjoy and learn something,

Can you list them? It's not that hard. Here's my quick list of top 15 QB's for the season, with a caveat of 6 games started to qualify. I'm not going to argue spots.

Brady
Rogers
Ryan
Roethlisberger
Brees
Stafford
Rivers
Prescot
Carr
Cousins
Mariota
Luck
Bradford
Wilson
Hoyer

We have only played three of these QB's. Are you going to list yours as asked?

LOL, Ark doesn't balk on ****. Ark knows that, regardless of what the list is, it would be meaningless in the scheme of things to someone who thinks Hoyer is a better QB than Dalton or Smith or Manning. Actually, it would be meaningless in the scheme of things regardless as Ark knows that much more goes into the game.

your 'do not ever dare debate' statement shows everyone that giving you actual facts, i.e. showing you QB Ratings (the stat you want to go with) for a couple of QB's against all other teams as a comparison to that QB's rating against the worst-coached, least-talented Defense in the league. You know, the one that is #1 in RZ Defense and #7 in ppg allowed. Yeah, that one.

Next year we will petition the league to only put on our schedule the top 15 QBs. Our bye week will be week one so that after the games are played we can determine who we will play..of course since this list can change every week make plans for attending any games after the NFL makes their announcement of who we shall play.

Again, your list means absolutely nothing other than as of Week 13 teams that played these QBs played against the top 15 QB's based on their QBR. That is not an accurate assessment of defensive play, as there are factors involved the QBR does not include.

But to make you feel satisfied, here are my top 15 QBs.

Bradshaw
Montana
Manning
Farve
Graham
Unitas
Elway
Aikman
Marino
Staubach
Waterfield
Young
Layne
Griese
Kelly

Thanks for listing it, even though you know I meant for this year.

Bradshaw #1? Really?

Waterfield? Pretty unique, and with little film. Maybe 2% would rate him as high as you do.

Griese? Ha, um okay.

Such subtle trolling. You're the best, Coach.

I think my point was easily proven. Now you have some perspective.

My point stands,

Any list used you can claim is incorrect.

My point which will stand is we haven't played many of them, and other teams, in general, have played more.
With the data coming from you, it will be modus tollens! Or you can argue with yourself, which would be rather funny, You're move...I'll check back in to see if your game.

I guess so, your one move away from checkmate and you know it!
Also, this is not my list, I can find others.

I took the top 15 QB's from it. It's called a QB rating, while not perfect the best players are often at the top and the worst at the bottom.

Yes, it can change week to week, but what's your point. So can your weight.

That is the fact. When someone has to go way off target, to me is enforced my point as they do not ever dare debate it.

You won't produce it, not because you can't but because you're buried if you do. Game over, and I'll respect you more if you play along.

This list is complete BS...you've got Eli Manning, Vince Young, Ken Graham and Brian Griese on the list but no Ben...Wth? Perennial SB loser Kelly makes the list too! I'm outraged, bwahahaha
