Croatia first!

Wednesday is going to be a hell of a night. To put that into perspective I was about 15 when we last made it to a semi-final. 32 years ago...

I will point out, England won the world cup the last year the Eagles won a Football Championship. Until this year...

Now that is the sort of thing that makes me smile!

Complete bag of nerves today and it's 8 hours until kick off and at least 7 hours until I can have a beer!
 
Gutted that we lost but I think we were tactically naive and our lack of experience showed. Should have taken Ashley Young off much earlier as he was getting overrun. Covering for him was opening up the other side of the pitch which is where they scored. Plus we should have been up 3-1 at half-time. Must be tough to swallow if you're part of the team. Hopefully Croatia cause an upset but I think they'll get killed by the French 3-0 - not as bad as the 7-1 thrashing that Germany inflicted on Brazil in the last world cup but pretty one-sided.
