Yes the refs were ******* idiots on that first TD, but we were up 23-7 at halftime. We come out flat as ****.
We did the same ******* thing on defense the entire second half. Use 2DLinemen, blitz an ILB and let our other ILB cover their best WR while SD ran the same ******* route to him over and over and over. Hell the final drive we had ******* Bostic in there, why??? I have no ******* clue, oh and that slow piece of **** was covering their best WR. And we never adjusted one time to it.
What does that remind you of? Timmons trying to cover welker back when, Timmons trying to cover Edlemen, same over the years, no matter the DC

Exactly. Yes the refs cost us 2 TDs, but mistakes and stupid coaching cost us the rest of the game. This is supposed to be a team of professionals. The amount of mistakes the players make is mind boggling, and the stupidity of letting Keenan Allen roam free on LBs all game long is just... I don't even know what to say about that. Follow the Green Bay model.
 
I don't know how they ignore Allen the entire 2nd half. I just can't comprehend it. Why would you NOT slide a cornerback on him? Why?

Because they had a LB on him,...duh. Isn't that how you cover a stud WR? lol

We were running the same blitzes and leaving the middle flat open almost the entire second half and had LB on their best receiver, stupid ******* coaching.
 
I dont recall for sure but to my eye besides the blocked punt which they damn near ducked up too, they haven't produced a turnover in three games. You cant win like that.

It was painfully obvious too, then they just started letting Duh Dupree run himself out of the play then gash us by running at him. Did we counter that in any way, **** no. I mean hey put a 3rd Dlinemen in to collapse the pocket with Watt and regain control of the LOS, nah that's stupid.

And the obligatory WTF is he doing challenge. I know he isn't going anywhere so I don't generally participate in the fire Tomlin ****. I've gotten to where I've had enough. At the end of the day, if what his bum *** coordinators are doing isn't working, it's his job to adjust. You know, like their coaches did at the half. We are also a stupid football team. The bone head penalties that killed drives happen every game. The players **** the bed a lot too, and the officiating gifted them seven points. I won't count the punt return because our defense would have just given that up anyways. It's a shame. From a three game lead in the division to likely not winning it and missing the playoff's being more than just a possibility. It's an embarrassment, but the Rooney's won't do **** except fire some position coach or other scape goat.
 
If they would have double or tripled Allen and someone else made a play, I wouldn’t have cared at all. Cause that would mean an actual ADJUSTMENT was made. The coaching staff is as stupid as the defensive players.

It was still 23-7 after that. Our defense had an ILB on their best WR several times including the final drive.

30 points is good enough to win most games.

But I know anything not to blame the coaching.

Not sure why you post under Tomlin threads when everyone knows you won't blame him.

Butler and the ST coach needs to be shown the door regardless.
 
I'd like to know how Butler managed to get this into the defensive game plan.

Another year, same ****. It's been this way since the core of the Cowher teams began to retire around 2011 or so.

The only consistent thing about this team is the inconsistency, and it all starts with Mike Tomlin.


It's frustrating that every season the Steelers flash the talent and potential to do great things, but just do not have the direction and leadership to sustain it.

The guy needs to go.
 
When a team scores 30 points and gets screwed out of more. And someone wants to blame the O, you know there is no point in ever debating with that cat.
 
Chargers trying to get in FG range, their best WR is up to like 12 catches 150 yards the majority of them were over the middle and on a LB. So you make the call! Ummm let's try to cover him with an ILB this time, but let's use our slowest ILB this time?????? Who ******* comes up with that?

I dont see JuJu or AB get overthrown much. I realize he was wide open. But the young guys simply dont make plays. They dont run through their break. They play nervous.
 
I benched Keenan Allen in my fantasy league, so this loss is probably on me and Ben's jump ball interception. That guy makes some stupid ******* decisions sometimes.
 
I’m glad this loss was in front of those legendary SB teams. What an embarrassment to wear that jersey. James Harrison is still better than any pass rusher we have lol.
