That defense is pathetic. Stick a fork in em they ain't going no where. They can't stop the run or the pass.....that defense is just sad.

That's the mantra of the anti-Tomlin crowd. Why does this team, with so much talent, lack chemistry, or an identity, or whatever. There is the "IT" factor missing, again, and again.

I've been feeling ever since the Titans narrow win that this team would be fortunate to win one of their remaining 5 games. They're just are not a playoff team, lack talent on defense everywhere, and the offense and Ben are just too inconsistent. So many holes and where to begin.

I try to stay positive ... but, I'm done with that. This team is terrible. Offense has all the weapons to succeed and continuously shoots itself in the foot against bad teams. Defense .... what defense? Coaching in each of the losses has been waaaay substandard. No, this is not a playoff team.
Glad to see that both teams from the crappy NFC South that have come to Heinz Field have gone home happy.

You have a bad defense with the worst LB'ers this team has employed in ******* decades. That's decades! You have no NT, a serviceable DE and an old man at the other end. You're defensive backfield is made up of has beens and guys off the scrap heap. The offense has a few playmakers in Ben AB and Bell and a up and coming star in Bryant. Now when one of those playmakers who is Ben has a bad game, this team is doomed. There is no one to bring in to replace him on a bad day and the defense just cannot compensate for poor offensive performances. The defense has no playmakers and cannot be depended upon to supply turnovers, Couple all of this with poor coaching and the recipe for disaster exists.

Why on 2nd and 5 after we rode him down field in the 2nd quarter we decided to throw our way to a field goal is beyond me.
A touchdown there *might* have settled them down and allowed them to continue running, since Ben was putrid for most of the game.

Can't believe how bad the defense is and i shouldn't be its been coming for awhile. "Pride before the fall" bad scouting, bad drafting, dated scheme, just plain blown coverages, penalties, aging stars that were cut to make room for new stars that haven't panned out so we're brought back and now we are a mix of old and new crap.
