This is not a playoff team

We actually missed Gilbert today lol.

Our entire draft needs to be defense. We need everything, NT, safety, corner, Lb. Our defense sucks.

8-8 and another season sans the play offs

We lose to Cinci (at least once), KC and Atl. That gives us an 8-8 record, which is what we can expect from this regime. 3 straight years is a trend, not a fluke. Doing the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. Tomlin will give us more of this inferior team mng. as long as he is head coach. But the Rooneys are so in love with the "Only 3 head coaches since 1969" that they won't do the wise thing and find a better coach,.

Can't win with no defense......even if we got in the playoffs...who could we beat????

If they finish 8-8, or even 9-7, after sitting at 7-4, I cannot see how the Rooney's can justify not making a move at either head coach or GM, given the trajectory the franchise seems to be on, nearing four calendar years without a playoff victory.

Staying idle, just because it's "the Steelers way" in such a scenario just defies logic. People tend to forget that prior to the 1970s, the Steelers were a joke, perfectly illustrating how things change.

What exactly has the combination of Mike Tomlin and Kevin Colbert done, especially once Bill Cowher's fingerprints on the organization withered away, to lead people to believe that they are even remotely capable of turning this thing around?

I sure as hell haven't seen it.

we gotta draft defense a lot but we also gotta get a starting caliber cb. in free agency. doesn't have to be a absolute shut down corner, just a average 1# then we gotta really focus on the pass rush.

I always like to look at areas of the team/players who were upgraded. The list is Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell. That's it. Everywhere else has regressed.

My disappointment this year is only tempered by my low expectations going in. I expected 8-8 and no playoffs. Therefore I'm not as pissed off as some other fan. I'm sort of glad the game wasn't on in my tv market. The Ravens blowing a game in the fourth quarter was fun to watch though.

Bell is not better than Bettis

Bettis wasn't even on the team that Tomlin inherited. He wasn't even on the team the year before Tomlin took over. Bettis is not even relevant to my comment.

I try to stay positive ... but, I'm done with that. This team is terrible. Offense has all the weapons to succeed and continuously shoots itself in the foot against bad teams. Defense .... what defense? Coaching in each of the losses has been waaaay substandard. No, this is not a playoff team.

What is the one constant? Tomlin. How else to you explain the team never being focused for weak opponents?

"How many ways do I need to tell you in terms of my interpretation of how the game has unfolded?

Maybe you could tell us one more way in terms of your interpretation of how the game has unfolded?

If jones shazier could actually get off their ***** and play... Even if they could our front Seven would be jones, shazier,Timmons, worlds at linebacker, tuitt,Thomas, and heyward on the line. That's 4 number one picks and 2 number 2 picks.... And can't remember a worse front seven ever going back forever to the curtain days. Time to fire people.
