This was said on the fan, thoughts?

Remember, they made reference to the AFC North, Steelers were in the AFC Central up until 2001 and so were many of those you mentioned.

My bad and you are correct.!!!

**** the rats and their QB.

Ben Roethlisberger is the best QB all-time in the AFC NORtH

Lamar is waaay better than anyone on this forum ever thought he would be. Not sure why we gotta act like he isn’t really really scary

Dude made sooooo many plays in the 4th Qtr that would have, could have, & probably should have haunted Steeler fans forever..,

Not sure who said he isn't good.

I would go as far as saying the Steelers should heavily look into acquiring Todd Monken when he becomes available. I presume he will follow Harb wherever he may go but what he did for Action Jackson was pretty special. Developing him into a passing threat …

Tons of people the second he got drafted by the Ravens

Said he could never play the position, can’t throw, someone dissed him here already calling him what? La’Running back?

I’d argue he’s the most athletic, but not much beyond that.
I would have to say that’s a true statement. But as we all know, there’s much more needed to bea successful NFL quarterback, than just being athletic. Although, that is a natural attribute that is needed.

There are three things that are needed before we could speculate on the next offensive coordinator of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
1. Arthur Smith needs to leave the organization.
2. Does Aaron Rodgers return or not next season?
3. If he does ..Who becomes the next starting quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

All these three things are obviously assuming that Coach Tomlin returns next season.

So I guess there are four things that need to happen before we could speculate on the is the next offensive coordinator of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

But it is fun speculating!

That's because he falls short in big games, until he wins a Super Bowl he'll probably get that.

I think Mike will return regardless of what we like to see. I don’t think the QB status should affect if he should be hired but yeah of course Smith leaving would be a factor. Probably the main factor.

I believe the quarterback status might be the most important dimension of this possibility of happening.
Of course who the head man in charge also is right up there, but that goes without saying

In reference I thought the man was QB capable. I thought that was a strong attribute of his…

In the 4th quarter of his last big game he was 6 of 8 for 172 yards & 2 touchdowns
Yeah he played very good in that game, it wasn't a playoff game, Cam Newton once won an NFL MVP. He'll have to win a Super Bowl. I'm not saying he's no good or a bad player, he's really good.

That is a fact.
A running back playing QB.
Only within the last few years have the good people on this board changed their tune about the guy.

I’d lay Kordell Stewart up against him in that athletic department.

EDIT: Two different era’s of QBs, but respectively they both had great athleticism.

I consider it less than speculation as to the return of Coach Mike Tomlin.

The other 3 points are definitely questions to be answered.

That makes for an interesting comparison iand debate DIC.
I might have to give the edge to slash on this one, mainly due because I don’t think Lamar Jackson could’ve played wide receiver like he did.

Admittedly, I was one of "those guys" as he hadn't shown any consistent arm talent (mechanics) up until the last few years and to be quite fair about it, his ability to throw in the NFL was a question from many scouts leading up to the draft, not to mention he was a one read and run type of QB in college questioning his ability to read defenses and go through progressions. There is a reason why he was the fifth QB selected, and the Ravens have done an outstanding job of building an offense around him and developing him over the years hence "us" changing our tune about the guy. I don't believe that earns us criticism or being called out as having been wrong about him, but rather the opposite.
