Thought y'all would like this from 2008 season vs Cowgirls.

Well the regular voters do, because they are Media simpletons… if there aren’t stats most of them don’t even know who tgey are voting on lol

Isn’t this the truth. It’s kind of like a lot of the current NFL fans…….. If it weren’t for stats they wouldn’t even know what the game is about.

Salute the nation

I can't stand Buck, but he was letting the awesome crowd and stadium atmosphere own the moment. They handled the silence very well.
That was said in retrospect. No announcer avoids being part of a game winning play, EVER. Remember that great win team USA had against the USSR in 1980? Damn announcer should have shut up so we could hear the crowd.

They were stunned and unprofessional as hell showing their bias for all to see.

*my vitriol isn't toward you 448, I just hate Buck with a passion.

I watched that game with Texasfan (at his house, our families there). I was somewhat dejected, feeling that a loss to the detested Cowboys was pretty much imminent. Then that play happened. Oh JOY. My elated reaction involved the removal of my shirt and the encouraging of the kiddoes to punch me in the gut. (I was a different person then ;) ).

I loved 'Shea. I always thought he was a solid player, not spectacular, but always seemed to be around the ball. I think it was also Deshea that got knocked out cold in a game, and the sideline microphone caught (I think it was Hines) saying, "damn, Shea, you done got knocked the **** out!!!" Why I remember that I don't know for sure, but he was alright and I just laughed at the comment. Wiki says he's currently on the coaching staff with the Jags.

I attended this game with my younger brother who happens to be a Cowboys fan. I know, I know, he was dropped on his head at birth. Anyway, our seats were on the 10 yd line about five rows from the field where Deshea's return happened. There wasn't a whole lot to cheer about until the last few minutes of the fourth quarter. At least for me.

My brother walked away from Heinz Field back then impressed with Pittsburgh and their fans. He enjoyed himself despite the Cowboys defeat and still talks about the kindness many fans showed afterwards asking him what he thought of the city and hope he enjoyed his visit despite his team losing.

Since that game whenever these two teams meet, we'll attend the game wherever it is. We're already looking forward to the 2024 game at Arcrisure.
