So, Dad passed away. Funeral is Friday in Aliquippa, so fam heading to Pittsburgh.
Set up our flight back for Monday.
I was thinking daughter has never seen a Steelers game in person ( the only one in the family)
so I would like her to take her for the experience and get her mind off the death of her Pappou,

Anyone have 2 tickets willing to part with for a reasonable price (expensive times for me).

Thought I would ask 1st here.
Thanks for reading.

Sorry for your loss SDS. Wishing the best for you and family. I have no idea if you would chance this, but I would go to the stadium for game time and listen around. Both times I’ve been,I was surprised at ticket prices offered by some before the game. Many were much cheaper than what were being offered on websites during the days leading up.
You never know. Walking through the lots, around stadium is an awesome experience on game day even if you don’t go.
Being Green Bay will garner more interest because they are one of the well liked traditional cheese head teams.
Good luck and let us know here how it goes.

Edit
Just did a quick search on marketplace. Found tickets for 130$ each. And also 95$ each.
If you don’t have to park there, that’s not too bad.

Condolences to your family on your father's passing.

What a nice treat to experience a game on the flip side.....Steelman's advice is good; even just attending the tailgate/pregame is a great experience. I would look up Justin's Terrible Tailgate as an option and a possible source for tix.

I hope your travels are easy.

Sorry to hear that San Diego. :(

What a good way to honor your father by taking your daughter to her first Steeler game!

I'm sure you'll find a ticket on line or scalpers..

Perfect day for a Steeler game in Pittsburgh also---48 and mostly cloudy!
Make sure you bundle up that California girl!

The Stadium experience, parking lot, tailgating are all exceptional. Take her up the incline at station square and walk... eventually you can see bothe the baseball and
Acrusure stadiums.

Good luck in everything and GOD bless.

Picked up on the Greek Papou as my wife is full Greek. Mom is from Santorini dad was from village on peloponnese. There is a slightly dirty but fricken amazing authentic Greek restaurant downtown as you go to one of the bridge I think Clemente. Anyone know name?
I believe your referring to Christos?

If so...your review is spot on.

Dad was a Greek Orthodox Priest, came to America by himself at 17. Mom was Greek also, born in Aliquippa. They met while he was a deacon.

Cousins own a catering business (Metro Catering). One also has a restaurant in Monaca, but I can't remember the name right now off the top of my head.
So no need to find any authentic greek restaurants. :)

Anyway, I got tickets!
Now about that tailgate. Details please.
Also is the museum open on game days?

Booooom. That's it. You went threw the kitchen to go downstairs to the washroom. Everything was the old wood panel and dusty trinkets from Greece. Food was as good as Easter at my Mother In Laws.

Where did you end up getting tickets? How much ,if you don’t mind me asking. It’s always nice to know for us out of towners. Have a great time....I’m jealous!

I went to ticketmaster, decided not to screw around, 140 a ticket and a combined 62 dollar service fee,
would have had them for 135 but by the time i filled out all the **** those weren't available anymore.

She is excited!

I have a friend with season tickets who as of this morning had 2 to sell at face value no fees 210 each section 106 row AA. SHe aid she would accept a reasonable offer but not insulting. If you are interested I can ask if she still has them.

That’s actually not too bad. I was trying to go to the Seattle game. The ticket prices are just outrageous. Never mind the hotel prices. Plus the 35% exchange. And I would drive down and have to deal with border lineups. Of course it’s also on New Year’s Eve.
My kids should be getting them for me as a Xmas gift 🤔🤪

Go to the main Home page on the SN app, info is at bottom middle button. Kids under 12 are free. Apparently Peezy is a guest this Sunday.
