Tiger took a run at it today

It was vintage Tiger. He was playing well and the others couldn't hang. It was great to see. Definitely the comeback of the decade and possibly the comeback of the century. Truly amazing he was able to come back at all, let alone play so well and win within a year of his comeback. Amazing feat to see!!!!! He'll win at least one major next year.
 
Whatever side you're on, his story is pretty damn amazing. Myself, I would not have thought he'd come back as he has but props to him. He needs 4 majors to tie Jack at 18 and in the modern game that is out of this world good, but there's far more great competitors now than there was in his first 14. It's a long shot, but so was him returning at all.

This week is the Ryder Cup. Absolute best competition in all of sports. USA, USA, USA!

Tiger did not play well the final round he shot +1. He was on fire the front 9 of the 3rd round and kinda struggled on the back. Only 2 people in the top 11 (Rory and Rose) shot worse than Tiger Sunday. He did have a decent lead going into Sunday, but no one really pushed him. At one point he had a 5 shot lead which dwindled down to 2 (mainly due to Tiger's own miscues). He was also REALLY close to dumping it into the water on I think the 15th hole (par 3). It will be interesting to see how he does under the pressure now that got the first win out of the way. Tiger has not exactly been stellar in the Ryder Cup, but he seems to be much more personable now which should help.
