Many of us know who Cenk (pronounced, "Piece of ****") Uygur is. He founded and runs "The Young Turks," a political cable television show that runs left of Warren. He is a huuuuuuge Bernie bot, and decided that despite his myriad of severely debilitating lack of intellect, general ugliness as a human being, litany of crude comments, and far, far, far left politics, he would run for Congress in the 25th Congressional District. That district is in southern Ventura county, a beautiful area with rolling hills, open areas, some beautiful homes, residential neighborhoods that has turned purple due to the massive influx of illegals and their offspring. I lived there (Simi Valley) for about eight months before moving to my current home.
Republicans Howard McKeon and later Steve Knight held the seat for 16 years until the 2018 election. Katie Hill - one of the most fake people I have ever seen and a cardboard cutout of a candidate - won the seat and then resigned in embarrassment due to her personal life, nude photos with a young staffer, etc.
So Chunk decides to run for this seat. Why an area that has been Republican for 16 years until very recently? Who knows. Presumably because he IS that dumb. Chunk's political career - such as it is, less impressive than that of Marianne Williamson - is done. Finished. He is receiving less than 6% of the vote so far, and is running a DISTANT fourth in the election.
Even better - it appears that the (D)ims are going to lose the seat again, ending their 2-year run, as the votes cast for the Republican candidates (43,000 so far) outpaces the votes cast for the (D)im candidates (39,000), where the interest level is very low on the primary side for Republicans as they don't have a contest in the Presidential race while voters have an interest in the (D)im primary.
The take? Uygur is a bloated fat-*** dumbshit who was smoked. The 25th Congressional will change hands in November. The (D)ims are waaaaaaay behind in fundraising and interest, since even where the Republicans have no real driving interest in a race, they are showing up to vote, and that energy will increase substantially come November, when the race matters.
