yes yes, I know you have all been anxiously waiting for this day so here we go

TE - Tanner Koziol 6'6" 245 (measurement from Senior Bowl)

I know the Steelers likely don't need another TE, but Smith should be gone and baby Heyward is expendable. Tanner in his one season at UH had 74 receptions for 727 yards and 6 TDs. He is an excellent red zone target and will make the contested catches. He runs hard after the catch, not Mt Washington hard, but fights for yardage. He is a willing blocker, likely needsd some coaching on technique but was more than capable blocking at the collegite level. He has been invited to the Combine so we can see how he measures up to the other top TEs out there, but I would expect he is gone before the end of the 3rd round.

CB - Latrell McCutchin Sr 6'1" 185

The Steelers always need corners and this guy would fit in well. Good size and speed (invited to the combine so we can get a good 40 time) Solid cover guy with 39 tackles and 9 PBUs last season. Dropped a couple of INTs so he needs to work on that. Willing tackler who is not afraid of setting the edge or blowing up screens or runs his way. I'm thinking around a 3rd or 4th round pick unless he really blows everyone away at the combine. Played some at safety due to injuries so position flexibilty is a plus

RB - Dean Conners 5'11" 208 (measurements from Shrine Bowl)

Transferred to UH from Rice so he is a smart player. 977 rushing yards on 200 carries and 254 receiving yards on 34 receptions for a total of 9 TDs. Strong inside runner with the abllity to get to the corner also (at least on the college level) Excellent receiver out of the backfield and downfield. Willing blocker and ofter lead the way on runs for the QB. He had a solid showing at the Shrine bowl. Showed quickness and power in the running game and dodged open field tackles on two receptions down the field. He scored a TD with a nice cut back run in short yardage. I'm thinking a 4th to 5th round pick if he is there later than that he is definitely worth a look

WR - Stephon Johnson 6'2" 190

A lisfranc injury cut his season short so he will likely slip deep in the draft. In his limited time he had 275 yards on 13 receptions for 2 TDs with a long of 74 yards. His 2024 stats were underwelming due mainly to subpar QB play. He is a solid route runner with very good hands he has the speed to get deep and is not afraid of contact. He is elusive and will make people miss. Not Tank Dell level elusiveness, but still pretty good He will make the contested catch and was a reliable 3rd down target. I was really hoping he would get a 5th year of eligibility due to his injury but that did not happen. Likely a late round pick or undrafted free agent.

oh you know you love my posts

I do, this one for sure.

I always look forward to board members who actually give break downs on players they have watched.

Coolie does an exceptional job here.

Than k You SIR, appreciate yaz.

You will always have ed Oliver 9th overall to fall back on...
William Jackson III had a decent career as did Elandon Roberts..Patrick Paul and Josh Jones are solid players. Tank Dell is electric when healthy and Marcus Jones has turned into a solid starter and All Pro punt returner...

and those are the ones I recall off the top of my head

but Oliver going im the top 10 is the highlight...
