Big investment to **** around with.
I see your point. The only contrary hypothetical(since we are doing hypothetical scenarios) is that we lose maybe two more games..and we go on a run, remember Canada said this O is about to explode, putting us at 10-7. According to the NFL stats a 10-7 team has a 91% chance of making the playoffs. 9-8 puts us at a 50% chance to make the playoffs. When you look at the rest of the schedule outside of Philly either one is doable. Now you lose TJ Watt for the rest of the season by playing him too early and those chances drop to 0%.If he’s not up to football speed, he’ll fit right in with the rest of the pass rush.
The Steelers are 2-5, if he’s cleared to play I’m not going to worry about what bad things could hypothetically happen.
See Mike looked into SN and based off our recommendations he is waiting to activate TJ until after the bye obviously. No TJ tomorrow.
clearly the truthSee Mike looked into SN and based off our recommendations he is waiting to activate TJ until after the bye obviously.
Yeah, no need to have him reinjure himself and miss extended time the second half of the season.Again, the Steelers are 2-5. That’s a huge reason. The objective should be winning, not having a healthy TJ Watt after having been eliminated from tha playoffs.
I’m certain that one or more doctors were involved in the decision whether or not to clear Watt. Had they decided to clear him, I would’ve respected that decision as well.Yeah, no need to have him reinjure himself and miss extended time the second half of the season.
Guys are cleared all the time to return too soon. Professional sports are different in that capacity.I’m certain that one or more doctors were involved in the decision whether or not to clear Watt. Had they decided to clear him, I would’ve respected that decision as well.
