TJ Ward

That site is a hack, they are either guessing. Or stole it from somewhere else.

Steelers reportedly interested in former Broncos S T.J. Ward

The Pittsburgh Steelers have already reshaped their secondary in the past week via free agency with the addition of cornerback Joe Haden, but they might not be done as they’re apparently expressing interest in former Denver Broncos safety T.J. Ward.

The Broncos released Ward on Saturday as part of their 53-man roster cut down. The three-time Pro Bowl selection is a vested veteran who immediately becomes a free agent and teams are already expressing interest.

A report earlier on Saturday linked Ward to the Carolina Panthers and now ABC 7 Denver’s Troy Renck is reporting that the Steelers may have some interest and that they could be the preferred landing spot.

In three seasons with the Broncos, Ward made two more Pro Bowl appearances and became an integral member of their “No Fly Zone” secondary. However, faced with paying his $4.75 million base salary in 2017, Broncos general manager John Elway decided it was time to put their trust in younger players.

Ward is 30 and can still provide value in the secondary. He can be a liability in coverage, but he’s also one of the most feared box safeties in the NFL.

Current Steelers starter at strong safety Sean Davis would be an interesting complement to Ward. The younger, quicker and lengthier safety could provide value on passing downs while Ward could drop down to play against the run.

Can Davis slide over to FS and replace Mitchell? Better yet IR Mitchell until you decide what to do with him.

what? lol we actually want to keep our depth. And not sure Davis would be a good FS option.

As much as I like the idea of bringing on Ward. No way he's getting number #43 here.

We can petition the league to allow award to wear 43.5. I'll draft up the online petition immediately

If he has something left and is willing to play one year for whatever is left on the cap. Do it. But Tuitt must be signed. That is a must.

Oh my ! My feelings are so hurt. My comment stands. You are a douche. Have a great evening.

LOL. And you are a ******* idiot, And that's my comment and it stands. Oh. And have a great evening yourself also.

Well there's no point in trying to sign him. He'll want to start.

Maybe he doesn't mind splitting playing time and having a chance at another ring?

We play alot of nickle and potentially dime he might play alot
