TJ Watt vs Myles Garrett

I hope Watt doesn't win the DPOY for the next 2-3 years. Not because he doesn't deserve it but because every hear not getting it will make him stronger, angrier ... god have mercy on the AFC North. Yes, I don't actually hope that ... but ... unleash the beast).

Ironically, Reign the time will come when Watt, like his older brother, can't maintain the physicality required to put up the numbers he is now and THEN he won't be performing well enough to get DPOY. They will waste how many actual opportunities for him to get it by overlooking him for what I believe are horse-**** reasons.

Last year it was because he was on a "championship caliber defense" and thus was just a cog in a really nice machine. Well, then the machine had all it's ******* cogs spew out all over the floor after the middle of the season last year and T.J. just kept on dominating. As soon as the "pundits" saw that he kept producing numbers as he had earlier in the season despite the loss of Dupree and Bush they should have said "Holy ****!"

But no. That Donald fella sure is a fine young man. Yes indeed, a FINE young man!

wig, I totally get what you are saying but these ******* pundit ***** voter media **** for brains just don't care. If Watt continues his course and gets shunned then the travisty is not just his legacy but also a part of the STEELERS legacy as well that is affected. Crying shame in my opinion. Similar to the O'l addage "there are to many steelers in the hall of fame so he (player name) can wait." Either they are good enough or they aren't and number of teammates should not be a factor.

I don't think Watt not winning the award is what drives him. You either have the inner drive to be great or not. He has it. It is as simple as that.
 
I'm thinking the writing is already on the wall. The pundit pukes have been hyping Garrett like mad and I don't see him losing the DPoY. One writer even said "I don't care how many fumbles TJ Watt causes".

Fixed...just like the rest of the nflost. NFL is the WWE and the Steelers are the heel. Not the crazy dude that tried to kill Mason...nope...he's a loveable poetry reading sweetheart...saw it on tv!!! Lol.

Thats what people miss… consistent production usually beats out a production that spikes hing but then fades out
