TJ's having a lung issue - at the hospital.

Its speculation based on Tyrod Taylors situation, though Taylor was slightly different

Best I can tell, the injury itself is a seven to ten day recovery time for normal people, but thats assuming best case and no complications ... with the surgery, it could be a 2 to 4 week deal...
i think the err on the side of caution regardless
 
It's obviously good for TJ that he signed that monstrous extension. This would have proven awkward if he was negotiating after the team specialists punctured his lung. Could still be a bit messy, but far less likely with TJ able to collect $2M+ per game during his recovery.

I'd be surprised to see him back quickly.

I read it in a couple of places and was shocked as I didn't really know what had happened to him. He could need a tube into his lung for a period of time and won't be able to exercise at all. At least, that is what I read.

Should have been fired already. You just damaged the team's highest paid player and pretty much sealed the fate of this team's season. The Steeler's record without TJ is 1-11. The case could be made that the Steeler's are now deeper at OLB than they have been in the past, but I don't believe Highsmith and Herbig will see double teams or TE chipping which leaves those offensive players free to do other things in schemes.
 
Harmon playing stops some of the bleeding from Watt and Herbig being out. Hope hungry Jack Sawyer gets a good push.

They are going to come after our left side.
 
So TJ will play Sunday against the rats..and the injury did happen at the Steelers facility. Per reports..
