$275M. AFCN. Ouch.Sounds like Burrow is a little fragile

Watching Jake Browning and his accuracy and ability to use the middle of the field and our first round picks inaccuracy and inability to use the middle of the field is concerning. Browning had a similar if not better collegiate career except his one phenomenal season came as a sophomore not a senior. Kenny was an UDFA coming into his final season and a perfect storm of a poor QB draft class and his one huge season pushed him up the draft board… well one draft board.
Well, we've never seen KP throw over the middle. I'm just clinging on to the hope that it's by design and not due to his inability.Watching Jake Browning and his accuracy and ability to use the middle of the field and our first round picks inaccuracy and inability to use of the field is concerning. Sometimes I wonder if the guy is trolling as I never seen one fan so obsessive over a player. Every day or other day it is some crazy comparison.Jake Browning isn’t a STEELERS player currently. We should have drafted HIM and we’d be so much better off. He would magically over-ride both O’Canada and Tomlin on the preaching NO turn overs with an offensive scheme designed for no turn overs and vey low middle of field stressing………..
Yeah, I think we should petition the NFL draft board and tell them we meant to draft Browning instead, so let’s trade back into time. All sounds pretty dumb-founded, similar to your post and soon to be reply telling me I’m stupid and what my opinion should be.
Thank you in advance for the non-response I want out of you. Ford, you’ve fallen on hard times, I can bring you gasoline for your (parental) car. No offense intended but willing to help.

I showed on another thread by looking at the available passing charts on next gen stats that Ben in 2021 under Canada threw left 107, middle 145, and right 148. Pickett in 2022 threw left 112, middle 82, and right 111. In 2023 he has thrown left 82, middle 45, and right 84. I also have shown game film showing routes and open guys in the middle. Deep middle is tough to throw in the NFL. It either has to be cover 0 or you have to move the safety. If you look at heat charts of every single QB you will notice they all are cold or blue in the deep middle. Just not a lot of opportunities when you are throwing right where the safeties live. But 10 yards an in is where there's a lot of opportunities to move chains. Kenny is either not seeing them, or late to see them, or throwing an inaccurate ball.Well, we've never seen KP throw over the middle. I'm just clinging on to the hope that it's by design and not due to his inability.
So are we to have faith in Canada now?...that he knows exactly what he's doing after all?
Are you talking about the Jake Browning that completed 57% of his passes for 4.9 YPA last night?Watching Jake Browning and his accuracy and ability to use the middle of the field and our first round picks inaccuracy and inability to use the middle of the field is concerning.
Yes but he was great doing that inaccuracy, imagine how he would look in our scheme! I get goosebumps. Are you talking about the Jake Browning that completed 57% of his passes for 4.9 YPA last night?
Both Jake Browning and Kenny pickett both had their first starts thrust upon them.. both came about halfway through the game, both against good defenses… the ravens this year and tge jets last year were both top 5 d’s in yards and passing yards and points..Are you talking about the Jake Browning that completed 57% of his passes for 4.9 YPA last night?
Did you just say a QB who threw three picks did better than the one who didn't throw any? Both Jake Browning and Kenny pickett both had their first starts thrust upon them.. both came about halfway through the game, both against good defenses… the ravens this year and tge jets last year were both top 5 d’s in yards and passing yards and points..
Pickett threw three picks and no tds. Browning 1 td and no picks
Both took the field for the first time down points
Both ultimately lost
Pickett had the far superior first game. And tgats why just stat grabbing can absolutely lead to bad conclusions
Pickett threw three picks, two of which hit the wr in the hands and deflected for a int and one that was a desperation hail mary at the end of the game.
Browning threw one Td.. it was a garbage time Td, off a drive that started-down 3 tds with 4 minutes left and against pure prevent… up until that drive he was 5-11 for 37 yards in over a half
He finished 8-14 for 68 yards and a td
He also ran for 40 yards…. Almost all on that final 75 yard drive that absolutely didn’t matter
Pickett brought his team back from a deficit to take a 20-10 lead in the 4th quarter… he rushed for two tds.
Those three picks he threw were his only 3 incompletions of the day.. he completed 76% of his passes for 120 yards
Also pickett had just turned 24 at the start of the season… typical rookies are 23…
Browning was an udfa in 2019… this is his fifth season…..the bengals are his second team.. he spent three years on a practice squad… he is 27
Acting like he is somehow a superior prospect is disingenuous at best..
He explained the INTs apparently it didn't sink in no shocker there. Mad isn't the type to throw all the blame in someone's direction so the Canada comment was silly.Did you just say a QB who threw three picks did better than the one who didn't throw any?
If you look at the throws he made besides the Chase TD there wasn't much separation. He also threw a deep ball that a PI was called and was a big play that doesn't show on the stat line. He had a another deep ball that Chase was carried out of bounds for an incomplete. And even with that his stat line looked similar to what we would expect to see from Kenny during a GOOD game. And again. Browning was an UDFA and is just a journeyman backup QB. That is all he will be. What does that say about Kenny? Cue the "it's all Canada's fault" rebuttal in 3, 2, 1...
Yeah I saw the picture, he was wearing something on it...It’s being reported that Burrow was wearing some kind of brace on his hand before the game and the Bengals failed to list him on the injury report.

I think our game plan is simple. Do not beat your self. Slow the game down. Let the defense win the game.

Yes
Pickett threw three picks.
Browning threw none… watch both games. Pickett did better than browning, by a lot..
You yourself lamented the “what if” the one incompletion was caught for browning..
What if that first pass to claypool… that hit both of his hands, wasn’t vollyballed to the safety?
What if that sideline pass late wasnt tipped to the safety instead of caught or knocked out of bounds… well then they win going away same as if the D protected the 10 point 4th quarter lead he gave them
Browning was never really threatening to win that game…
You are welcome. That will be $1000.02Nice find, thanks for sharing Lunar.!!!

You are blaming Claypool for Pickett throwing into double coverage and getting picked. I don't mind the aggressiveness but the fact remains that it was an interception.Yes
