After reading that, I don't know that I want either of those cats to be drafted by the Steelers.

I was watching one college game (last year or the year before) and though, I wouldn't mind having either of these two CBs. I'm pretty sure it was OSU, but cant remember. I'm thinking it must have been a bowl game or I wouldn't ahave been watching them in the first place. If it was 2 years ago, it was Apple and Grant. Seems less likely that it was this year's Fiesta Bowl.
Yes we need CBs. When put a 5th rd corner on the PS, the board was freaking out over getting him to clear waivers to do so. GM was an idiot, Tomlin was an idiot. Grant cleared waivers because NO ONE wanted him.
Our CBs are terrible. Only one of them could start on another team, and AT BEST, he'd be the starting slot corner in a 3CB system. The rest of our CBs would barely compete with most teams' backups. And some of them that we grabbed recently that have been starters: Cocktrell, Blake, McCain, were outright cuts from their old teams. We're taking CBs that the Jags, Bills, and Texans DON'T WANT! So when we drop a depth CB to clear waivers, I doubt a single team takes notice.
So yes, we do need to add some talent to our corners.
