Tomlin sucks thread 11/6/16

He practiced Every day more then enough. And now reporters are lying

are they supposed to say he wasn't looking good?

I never remember a reporter reporting **** like that.

Nobody says they are lying they know as much about Ben's readyness as you do.

Mostly conjecture.

Which is why people always have to wait and see on game time decisions, because they are borderline not ready to go...

So where was that ultimate competitor in the first three quarters against our most bitter rival

not in panic mode.... trying to make his way thru the game not at 100%

I don't think the flaw with Tomlin's management of the QB today was in letting him play. Of course if Ben can go, he goes. My beef was in the playcalling. Coming out conservative with lots of bland inside runs, forcing him into a bunch of long 3rd downs early is NOT how you ease a QB back into game speed.

No points before the half, what adjustments were made?

really because Ben is a typical guy not the ultimate competitor?

I think your balhugging of Tomlin knows no limitation.

Nah, boy-o, just sick of seeing our superstar, $100 million dollar, Franchise quarterback play like utter dog **** on the road, and in other spots, and being afforded bullshit excuses for his play when he does. No other QB in this ******* league is known to be the liability that Ben is coming back from an injury. That's not including his overall horrific play on the road.

No, because if he wasn't ******* ready to play, he wouldn't have suited up! God knows Ben is just itching to tell everyone about how his injuries are progressing!

Cause Ben didn't play well and the OLine was dominated in the run game. Again what magic play call will fix that. Coaches called two TDs one was overthrown and one was dropped

Ben didn't play well because he was forcing the ball deep and to AB. That was part play calling and part on Ben. In either case, coaching should have corrected it earlier than the 4th quarter.

It was no magic that they moved the ball late. They simply started taking the easy throws in the wide open areas in the middle of the field. Just a few completions and then AB was open.

The reason the Pats are so hard to stop is because they simply take what the defense gives and then they wait for the bog play to open up.

They could have very easily had Bell, James, and Rogers racking up easy yards on short and intermediate passes.

Yep, it's the coaches fault that the quarterback can't hit on a god damn throw. Maybe it was the coaches fault that Ben threw another deflected ball that was picked off by a 320 pound defensive lineman.

lol k

now I know you are clueless, that QB would play if he could crawl onto a field. His ability to fight thru injuries and play thew injuries is evidence enough.
Broken nose etc.

Play calling or Ben?? Coaches should of corrected it? Or Ben could have?

Yes Brady does do that Ben doesn't. It's simply called reading the defense pre snap. Of course Tom has help with that but I digress

What you talking about Chipped. Exactly how it was drawn up

k whose fault is it for constantly losing to bottom feeders?
whose fault is it that this team is sloppy looking on the field?
whose fault is it with three losses in a row?
whose fault is it with these stupid penalties?
who is responsible for ******* adjustments? usually none or too little too late
who is responsible for lack of benching or not bringing in the right players for your system?
or ****** drafting?
or being out coached by certain coaches?

Only one coach fits all that criteria, one.

Now, now let's not get complicated here, it's so much easier to just say it's all Ben's fault.
The game plan was flat out garbage, trying to run with 3 TEs when none of the three can block, trying to constantly run when we were stuffed over and over again. We tried very little of the quick hitting stuff until the 4th when we finally went primarily 3 wide.

The oline couldn't do a damn thing, WR's dropping passes and running wrong routes, Johnson totally confused, but stayed in there, but yeah let's just say it's allon Ben

Um yes because that's what we can see overthrows under throws into triple coverage double coverage we can see that. What we can't see is the coaches telling him to throw it there. But we can speculate all day

It's a wonder this guy has managed to have such a winning record. Oh wait Ben is responsible for that but not the losses though just the wins

I was waiting there it is

Ben is responsible for losses, but the head coach for wins.

You just can't dream this **** up.

And yes you brought up his wins....

I offer his wins are a more about Ben and maybe even Colbert. and the way Rooney's do business... than his ability as a head coach.

And the way this team is trending supports that way of thinking.

You have no clue what route those are, so as you like to say all we can do is speculate. The play were Brown ran in and Ben threw out, it's a pretty good bet that was supposed to be an out because there was another wr near Brown when he cut in.
Yeah we can ***** about him missing on those two deep balls if that makes you feel better, almost every qb misses on a couple of those a week, Brady did last week, Rodgers did today, that's why they are called low % plays, and before you say throw it shorter, the deep play to Coates, he was the only guy open on that play.

And it's the same vice versa. The losses go squarely on the coaches, but never on the players, especially our franchise QB! See how this goes?

It's funny you want to push everything on Ben. You want to know what Tomlin's record would be without Ben? He would have been fired years ago. Ben has been masking the gaping holes and questionable coaching of this team for years.

Ben's problem is he gets too greedy and has to be kept on track by the coaches. That's why Arians had to be fired. He was too much of Ben's buddy and not chewing his *** for holding the ball too long. And of course, it was the Rooneys who had to step in and make the necessary move of firing Arians. Tomlin was content to let Bruce turn Ben into a crash test dummy each week.

I think it is a combination, of it all.

Bad coaching, players sucking it up etc.....

thing is I think the person responsible for fixing the sinking ship can only throw up a few patches to keep it barely afloat.

You can sail, but often won't reach your destination.

And in this case possibly never.

Goes back to every reply I've made in this thread. I just don't understand how anyone could blame everything on the QB and put absolutely ZERO blame on the coaching staff for a loss.

if it wasn't for obvious trends, I wouldn't lean one way it would be a team problem....but I think it is past that point.............

I'd go as far as to say it's an organizational problem because whatever the mental hurdle is, from the top down, this team is terrible in these specific circumstances. They look dominant at home against some of the best teams in the NFL and then get blown out of the water on the road by the dredges of the NFL. It's mind boggling.

We threw the ball 4 times from the no huddle in the first half, Ben was 4 for 4 32 yards
